Xtransbots has caused enough damage by putting out images of crap they never intended to finish thereby causing people who waited and waited to pay up the nose for Fanstoys figures...... which actually materialized. ie Galvatron!!! Where is Abaddon Xtransbots??!!

Sorry to hear that. That was pretty shitty, no matter how you look at it. I'm glad it worked out from what I read so maybe it was for the best. Had their been an issue with Koot, I'm not sure how well they would've supported you.

For me, they seem to wait until I couldn't do anything (past 90 days) and then went silent on me. Still was able to get the part I needed but I had to use another seller to do that. I will never go back to Onedaybid again.

He's good, but I think there will be a reissue, probably after Jabber drops. I think his reissue was rather short, so it''s hopefully just a matter of time.

 

Wonky transformation aside, Koot is quite solid once it fully transformed into either mode. Overall, I say Koot is much better than any version from XTB/KFC. I'd easily take Koot over Locke any day of the week.

 

Yeah, I agree, I got Koot cause he looks about as good as Kup is gonna get. I'm still not sure about Springer though. I really like Apache but XTB Virtus looks like it could be as good or better and just a touch smaller. I'm gonna wait and see with him.

 

Last night I finally tried improving Koot's upward head articulation: I filed down a little bit of the plastic on the back of the head, and now he can look up! I'm pleased with that.

When Hoodlum came out, everyone freaked out about him not being able to look up (among other limitations); but I had totally forgotten that Koot had the same limitation. I did the fix to improve Hoodlum's upward head articulation, but didn't try it with Koot until last night. Glad I did.  

 

This happened to me with OneDayBid. It was the pocket toys KO of Iron Factory Brutucus. Everything was fine except one of Blast Off's folding front wing hinge. It kept popping off when I'd fold it, and I noticed a slight amount of stress inside the hinge clip (only the inside thankfully). They said they'd look into it and get back to me. Follow-up later was responded to with "waiting for the part from the maker." After 90 days, they stopped responding.

Ended up warming the plastic just enough that it no longer pops off, so I'm fine with it. I mean, they sent me what I ordered, no damage to the box and all sealed. But I won't buy from ODB again either.

 

I kinda forgot about XTB's Kup attempt. I'd be curious if that actually happens, but for now I'll just wait for a FT reissue and/or a FT X/metallic deco. I'd meant to pick this up previously but didn't get around to it, but I'm not sweating it right now.

I wish they would've given Koot rubber tires at least.

Unless it's just a screw up and they have to cancel the sale due to not actually having the figure, I'd be VERY surprised if one*day_bid starts scamming. They have nearly 21,000 feedbacks...

 

Yeah I would not expect them to scam, but if they think they have under-priced it they will cancel your order and raise the price of the item.

It's what they did to me a few months back, so I will avoid them.
