Oddities of oddities BBTS has Tesla listed on their site as orderable, though is going at $199.99. I can't in good conscience give that for it.

Yeah, me neither. If it comes to that, I can wait for someone else to put out a Perceptor. My main concern is getting the Ark Crew, first and foremost. I can be lazy about getting the season 2 bots and I've almost got all of the TTM bots.

So, I'm pretty much caught up with the ones I really wanted.

Ok, dumb question but Holy crap I can't get the the back pack to lock in no matter what, it's super loose. Is this normal? I don't recall it being loose when I transformed it from bot to car but now from car to bot it doesn't seem to lock in at all.

It doesn't really lock in, per se. It's the little latches that go over his shoulders that sort of lock it in.

And yeah, it just stays sort of loose ish. I close the back a little. It expands to latch the shoulders but you can push them back in a bit so it locks it better.

Ok, so I'm not the only one then. I pinched the back pack together too just to keep it a little tighter but nothing seems to really lock in at all.

Yeah, it doesn't lock. It's all expected to be locked when you clamp the one piece around his collar and clip his head on.

The head locks it down and the "hooks" come down over the shoulders to give it a little bit more, though not much. Once you clip the head in, it should lock it pretty solid though.

But but...some people cheered at a con so that makes all the stuff they’ve screwed up in the past couple of years just disappear. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. Let’s go crucify company-x now for leaving out an ab crunch, waist swivel, having poor head articulation, or shoddy chipping paint, or terribly engineered transformations.

That being said, I do love almost all their pre-Apache releases(except you Tesla) and really hope they can recover before Astrotrain releases. Also hoping Jabber isn’t a pile of shit in a box. But hey, he’ll have diecast.

So it is possible to install KFC Hot Rod hands on Hoodlum and retain transformation. The KFC hands are a bit larger than the stock hands and so it requires a fair bit of cutting/trimming work on the hands as well as the inner forearms to allow for transformation. Fortunately the outer forearm covers hide all the trimming work on the inner forearms in both modes so that the overall appearance is not affected.

Also, there are no mushroom pegs on Hoodlum's wrists, so you will need to create your own mushroom peg adapters. I use nylon screws for mine.

I will update the entire figure and post a demo/tutorial later. Stay tuned!

    Cool. Always love your work.
I’m hoping the FansStyle hands for the MP Datsuns will work at least for posing, if not transformation. They are pretty much the only carbot hands with a mushroom peg fitting.
The light brown-grey hands for Streak or the white Prowl hands should work, maybe with a touch of colour.

Just opened the Hoodlum I got in Hong Kong. I would be pissed too if I paid 90 bucks for this, but I paid 60 bucks and for that price he is great.

Remember folks, there are no bad toys, only bad prices.

Is anyone having an issue with those side headlight parts being super loose after a transformation? Like I can shake Hoodlum very lightly and it just flops out of the side.

Be careful. Saying that can trigger some people in this thread.

    But happy for you, enjoy.
