I, too, would like to know this. Finally got my order of Ocean decals for my third party figures, and I believe these are the water decals (said they were when I ordered them from Uncle Billy, but it doesn’t say it on the package).

    Quick tips;
They adhere much better to paint than bare plastic.

Dunk them for 10s, then remove from the water, pat away any excess with tissue and them rest for 20 to 30s to allow the glue to loosen.
Put a drop of water where you want to place them.
Place them over where you want them and slide the back sheet out from under them.
You'll have a few seconds to slide them around for final placement, and can use a soft brush to remove any bubbles.

If they are not sticking a little future applied before you place them will give them a grippy surface.

Future can also be used to seal them but it does leave a glossy finish.

I'm in the same boat. I found these on Youtube. It is certainly a more involved process than dry transfers and peel & paste stickers but seems pretty straightforward.

Here this guy uses Solvaset decal setter (Mark Setter is another brand) for getting the decal to conform into any surface crevices that it is applied on top of.

don't like how waterslides leave the ghosting around the decal from the "clear" backing, at least you don't have that with dry transfers. probably not as big of an issue with faction symbols though.

What do you use as a background for your shots Destructimis? Or do you do photoshop the background in? I think I see some physical kinks in it though..

Everything pops so nicely on whatever that weird gradient you have there is.

I don’t use photoshop. All my pictures are taken in a photo booth that I made. 6DDB5441-9072-4E6A-88EF-EC0D3C858807.jpeg

It's not to bad actually. I received my first waterslides a week or two ago to put on my Quietus T and it's pretty simple to do. After you've put them in water for about 10/20 seconds or so you have plenty of time to realign the decal on your figure so you should be good. I find it easiest when using some small tweezers. Good luck!

I've failed to get this figure again lol.... Got scammed by an eBay seller and they're all sold out everywhere by now or jacked price even more.

The first release I procrastinated until they were all gone, second reissue I didn't like the raised price, and this M one I paid the even higher price but got scammed lol. Takara please do one that's not $300.

Thanks @mcart I picked it up on my birthday at a local comic shop. I thought it was pretty cool.

    That sucks.

Some years ago I finally tried The Chosen Prime, and I never looked back. I know I could save a few bucks if I shopped harder, but it's worth it to me to take the stress out of collecting. They've even hooked me up a couple of times given my history as a solid customer.

There are other excellent retailers out there, like Toy Dojo. For me, buying through a domestic retailer is worth paying a little more.
