I think everyone knows it's gonna be awhile before FT gets around to re-releasing this with all that's on their schedule. Too bad ShowZ's pre-order price was $210, but mine's on the way also

 

Looks like I might be selling one for a friend who's just been laid off - possibly as a 'double boxed/as new pack' with Quietus T by the looks of it. As mine's due tomorrow too, I think I might have to plank it out of sight to save it staring at him.

Whilst I'm happy to help out as their 0 feedback account's probably going to scare bidders off, guaranteed there will be loads of 'how much for buy it now' and 'do you post to country x' messages regardless of it being a straight up UK-only auction for ease   Time to turn the app notifications off!

Bbts had a few more for sale yesterday. I was lucky enough to get a 2nd for my son for xmas. I was going to post it here immediately after purchase but they were sold out again. I'm guessing it's all cancellations.

 

My FT-16M is due tomorrow and I have both the standard and T variants of Quietus (albeit the standard is in IDW configuration), so I'll try tomorrow evening. One thing I would say though, as someone who wrote DVD/BD reviews for many years (and owns many versions of TTF:TM) the only version one should use when trying to make an accurate colour comparison is the most recent BD release. Even that isn't completely accurate as they screwed up the encoding so there's no true black in the image, which means you have to compensate for it manually. Anyway, T is more accurate for the most part.

 

Mine arrived today from Toy Dojo. It arrived a day early.

re: Quietus, T definately comes closer, although I've got a personal preference for T with the white parts from the original (as opposed to pink). Few pictures in the Quietus thead - looks pretty striking (I've yet to do it to my two, but that's the plan - the older model can live in alt mode)

 

Stomp is getting a reissue next year.

Got my guy in today. He looks incredible.

 

Couple things to address.

#1 as far as I can tell the ONLY color difference is the main blue/purple. Everything on the legs is the same. Canons are the same.

 

#2 YMMV but for me, the canon on the new guy stays pegged in the arm MUCH much better than on the original. Here is me holding him up only by the canon (I don't recommend you try this)

 

#3 For that back pack some are having trouble with, just make sure you angle the blurple tabs correctly and you should be able to tab everything together no problem.

$180 is retail. It is for sale, not ON sale. Why would it be? At least it's not marked up.... yet.

 

TF Source did mark some up to 200 a few days ago, I believe. They also have a Phoenix 10x, I see. . .

 

Who knows, TFSource loves marking things up and then putting them on “sale” (retail price) to make it more appetizing to buy.
