My version had the same two issues. I didn't want to force the tab into the slot and snap something. The tab doesn't seem to align correctly with the slot. While I was pulling on the tab, the shoulder cover popped off, but was easy enough to put back. Initially, I didn't even know where it came from.

 

Pretty sure there is no qc person. They're just stickers slapped on at assembly as a gimmick.

 

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised.

 

Quality Control could mean many things. In this case I believe it's probably put on at completion. If there was any major damage or missing pieces it wouldnt get the sticker. So in that sense it's not a gimmick and actually serves a purpose.

 

I've had FT figures with damage/defects that have the stickers. They don't fill me with any confidence.

So have I. Each individual piece isnt getting the sticker just the final product. So if its assembled it basically gets a sticker. I mean we arent talking about a building a space shuttle here where they would have stress tests and examine every piece thoroughly.

I don't remember who quoted it but it made it into my signatures. Someone got a dinobot with the whole tail assembly missing....and it had a sticker.

Got the email from bbts too. I’m so excited for Sovereign M! I’m loving the pictures I’ve seen in this thread. The color looks perfect. Can’t wait to get him and post some pictures.

 

Mine will arrive via UPS 2 days from now for a total of 5 days transit time. A bit slower than the 2-3 days via USPS Priority like I used to get them from them. I've never had an issue with the way USPS/my local PO handled Toy Dojo deliveries in the past. Oh well, It'll be before I know it.

According to UPS, my order for FT-16M Sovereign is 5.00 lbs or 2.26 kg. Since Taobao weight should be the same and since TB rounds to the next highest 0.5kg, the shipping calculation will be based on 2.5kg.

 

BBTS probably just got their shipment in.
