Dry rub purple with a white border. I like how the white isn't completely opaque so it picks up the hue of the paint underneath.

 

I'd hoped Toyhax/Reprolabels would have done a label set for Sovereign including a clear backed, off-purple logo for the chest. It's been 2 years and nothing.

 

The Toyhax clear backed cartoon symbols look pretty bad on the chest. The purple doesn't contrast enough. I'm going to try a set of Ocean waterslides with the silver backing and hopefully they will look better. Toyhax' silver backed labels, that are small enough to fit, aren't trimmed close enough around the border, and look sloppy. Anyways, my two cents!

 

That's exactly how I'm leaning.

 

I went with Toyhax clear outline symbol. It does the job.

Started on the cannon... Which I'll probably never keep in this mode. But it's growing on me.. Wanted the hidden symbol, to test what the clear background looks like and a like that piece flipped back as it hides the hollow bits some.

 

You can find him for approx $200.. just got to look around. He's worth it.

How long have you had him. I had a dealer who was supposed to get me one at $160... But with many things... It fell through...

Can't really see it in person, but photos don't lie.

 

So these colors don’t look the same in person as they do on YouTube.

I just bought a Dx9 Galvatron and when I got him his coloring is off from what I though. he is more decepticon purple.

What I’m looking for is the dark blue type purple he was in the movie.

So my question is what is sovereigns color compared to Dx9 tyrant?

Sovereign is like a metallic flaked version of Tyrant. There is no blue MP Galvy yet.

 

Sovereign is a shiny, but deep purple. It’s not heavy blue. And I couldn’t care less. He’s freaking gorgeous. This will probably be a bit subjective.
