I've also not felt it had too much die cast. And I've had no trouble getting him into fun poses as evidenced here:

I know the feet and chest are, I think parts of the arms might be, but it definitely feels like even more then that. I don't have mine in front of me right now otherwise I would check.

 

Went and bought one, now I can put him and Tyrant together and see which one is the keeper. Maz's photos sold me on this one.

Though, after seeing photos of the bots with the upgrade, it's so much easier for me to look at the stock version in hand and see the potential for him to look great. I can't wait to get my kits!

You had me mostly nodding along right up until the end. TT's golf pants Megatron does nothing for me. Between the chipping paint, panels everywhere, cheat parts, and inflated price, it's like they took all of the wrong influences from BadCube.

It's better than what Bestgrey store on Amazon was charging for the last few copies of Stomp X a couple months back.

 

MEH, I would rather pay $250 for MP-36 any day of the week with all its so called flaws than pay only $50 for any of the rather embarrassing, low quality and QC riddled 3rd party options which fail, spectacularly, at capturing the likeness of Megatron. They are god awful.

 

Heh, I've given up looking to Amazon for Transformers of any kind. Every time I did, the prices were ridiculously high. There was a time when I was looking for that RID Green Voyager Gridlock that sold out everywhere, and Amazon sellers prices for that one made eBay look good. Never bought one. I refused to get ripped off to the point where I feel violated.

 

Gahhh-DAMN he looks good! Just really classes up my shelf!

And I am so excited for the next few movie figure releases front FansToys! I'll have all of them with Galvatron on their own shelf.

Side note: I like how my phone has all these transformers names and terms in its dictionary. I know it adds them after you use them, but it still makes me slightly giddy when it autocompletes  

 

Toes, part of the feet, the bars of the double knee joints, pelvis aside from the hip skirts, a piece that connects the whole stabilizer assembly to the back, pieces connecting the treads to the armatures, chest, and shoulders. I might have missed a couple. I would have been fine if his pelvis and chest weren't metal. But Sovereign still poses just fine in robot mode, provided you're not trying to use the full blast effect part in robot mode. That thing is just too heavy for his arm and the hinge on the cannon to support. (though you could just grab a clear adjustable stand to help hold the blast up once you find a pose you like with it if you're that determined to have him appearing to level the next city-state over)

 

Late to the party but DAMN this guy is a MP. Real Heavy and absolutely stunning. Tried holding out for a Takara Tomy version but all these pics made me have to buy him.

I own a Tyrant as well and the alt mode on Tyrant is amazing but FT nails Galvatron's robot mode. Real nice work!
