FT picked BC's weakest link and fired a shot right across their bow. Talk about ruthless!

I like BC's torso better, but the rest belongs to FT, especially those lower legs. Night and day difference. FT, just don't stretch yourself too thin.

Competition is such a good thing.

Why not? FT mentioned that the factory is able to produce multiple figures at the same time. So we will maybe also see the other insecticons this year. Don't think they will manage to release Sludge and Grimlock this year.

Cause if they say June, that always means September or October.

I think Soar should be released at October.

And release Insections individually is really bad idea.

Clever of FT to pick on the weakest sculpt of the BC trio. This is still up in the air for me. I liked BC's Insecticons and could forgive the wonky looking Bombshell because I liked the other two so much more anyway, but shit I don't know anymore. I'll wait and see how stuff plays out with the currently announced figures first.

Fanstoys has more cartoon accurate arms and lower legs, but botched the upper legs.

Badcube has Bombshell's proper upper legs and color changing chest transformation.

But fanstoys has glorious die cast!

Too tough to call. Guess I'll wait for xtransbots version.

And FT enters the Insecticon race. They're going for a coup d'etat!

Simply add 3 months to each release date. They never released a figure on time.

I was planning to get Badcube's effort all the way up until this point. I'm sorry Badcube, but at least you got me hooked on buying your Warpath. Damn Fanstoys you guys got some project schedule. I'm now curious as to when we will see an announcement of your Skyfire, Sludge, and Omega Supreme? Also when will we see altmodes and the proposed alterations for Reflector and Perceptor?

With so many amazing looking MP style figures coming out, I might just give up collection Generations. I also could probably use a better job in order to be able to afford more of these.

Bombshell looks awesome and very accurate! A 5.5" MP Bombshell sounds perfect to me. If the price is right, count me in on a full set of FansToys Insecticons.

Thank you Fans Toys. I just had this feeling Fans Toys were going to make their version of the Insecticons. I want these now.

Now if only I can have a feeling of them releasing Skyfire in the near future.

Between official MPs, Make Toys, Gigapower, and Fans Toys I am going to be broke.

    Bloody...

And I thought I'd be done with the dinobots. If they chrome the insecticons up, I'm in.

    These are so bought.

All this waiting for official MP news and Fans Toys are knocking them out of the park! While I trust Takara with the real-world vehicles (come on, lets get the Autobot cars moving), Fans Toys have proven time and again that they're perfect at bringing those characters with the left-of-centre alt modes to life.

Now bring on Fans Toys Jetfire!

As an aside, I'd also happily see Fans Toys tackle Galvatron, Scourge and Cyclonus for the reasons mentioned above.

    Steve.

Someone get all these 3rd party companies into one super factory. Who knows what we would see released with the culmination of so many brilliant ideas. For one, one perfect example instead of several leaving you gambling as to whether or not you made the right choice in the one you spent your only dollars on. This is a head f..k with so many choices and only two sides of a coin.

OH damn, this is really happening? I have been hoping for FT to do the insecticons since Scoria.

Sorry Badcube, going with Fantoys - again.

This is like Christmas having FT do the Dinobots and then the Insecticons (my 2 favorite teams).

Yep, hate to say it, cos when BC were the only option they looked damn good... But now FT has taken it to the next level! Much as I'm still tempted to pick up the three BC guys, in the long run it will definitely be worth waiting for FT versions.

It's a harsh market in 3rd party land!

So it is a problem for them to add 3 months?

Still if they release Insections one by one, they made a huge mistake. Well, even that I will probably buy them.
