Are you referring to the waist swivel? Mine can only turn about 30 degrees to the right and can't move to the left at all. Do you need to rotate the waist 180 for transformation? Either way, I'm gonna open him up and add grease and see if there's something blocking the swivel.

 

He's talking about the yellow shoulder part rotation.

 

Aside from the super tight waist, the only "problem" on mine is that his left set of bug legs on his back is a little loose at the joint/peg. Because of that, they don't sit in the slot as well as the right one.

Obviously, it's a non-issue overall but just a little niggle - especially since he's well designed with a peg/hole & tab/slot for it to fit together so perfectly.

 

I just got mine from TCP yesterday. Waist swivel is tight and has the issue with the bug leg. It's not super loose but I wish it was a little tighter like the other side. I might try to open it to see if there is a screw that can be tightened up.

I got mine.... yeah, this guy is pretty pristine to say the least. I mean right off the bat, he is for me much better value than many of official MP or 3rd party toys with similar price points.

I am thinking maybe I should concentrate my money on first gathering the next 2 FT bugs instead of Stomp, and gather that one after the bugs.

He looks great. A lot of screws for tightening / loosening or disassembling for adjustments if required in the future or right from the box depending on our preferences (I have to untighten some actually). I got the QC sticker too. I am being careful with the antenna, as some have recommended.

Yellow is pretty nice, not sure I should change to clear. Gonna have to decide if I use clear background symbol on the chest, or silver backed ones. I am thinking the next two member may need the silver backed ones.

The only initial nitpick I have for looks in bot mode are the grey unpainted parts on the legs, which are obviously done so paint doesn't rub. It may have potentially been better in black plastic or a dark grey, not sure.

Been playing some with the backpack legs, and I am happy that if I want, I can display his bug legs coming towards the front like PE Aranea (which I have and can pretty much be their Queen now).

It's cool that FT included those small energeon cubes, just like the show they had small ones (megatron fooling them making them do the work and giving them small cubes). LOL

No the lighting hasn't changed, only my choice of camera has. My previous pic was shot on my phone and is truer to the actual grey. This pic with my real camera is basically a darker silver.

 

how'd you get the energon cubes to sit in his hand? lol i tried for a few minutes and gave up
