Phoenix is numero uno on my list of upcoming figs, official or 3P. I've literally waited 31 years for a proper cartoon Skyfire. As much as I want this yesterday, I really want FT to take their time and have the best QC in their history with this guy.

 

It does. I dumped mine didn't care for it at all.

 

Gerwalk or gtfo....lol  . Just kidding, I would prefer a future upgrade from FT to make him more like jetfire, though not sure their will really be enough demand for it, cause it wasn't in the toon, so...

I got to start looking for a proper long cabinet shelf, like some of the awesome ones I am seing here. Fitting all the ft dinobots in one shelf, and maybe skyfire and the rest on another, another one for my reformatted line.

 

Whilst I would have loved a more toy accurate jet fire I'm sure in way too in the minority and such an endeavor would be too risky for this to come to fruition.

In the meantime this will go nicely in my collection  

 

I think an alternate Toy-based head would go a long way to making us folks in the minority happy(er).

 

A few aftermarket add on would be nice for some g1 toy details for sure, even though I prefer the toon look. I would welcome a future masterpiece like g1 toy release as well. Just glad I'm getting this version first.

 

Anyone know any place that carries this that accepts Amazon Payments as a payment option?

 

A miniture Hound might be a stretch but maybe a Spike figure to fit the cockpit would be awesome. If he's even in the realm of 1/60 scale he'd line up perfectly with all the MP Seekers.

 

You guys could always just get Macross figures you know?

Instead of add on parts I would prefer FT to do a full blown toy Jetfire. Why not? I'm assuming enough people would most likely buy one. I kind of think of it as the same situation as their version of MP Grimlock. A lot of people will stick with the cheaper Hastak offering but enough of us are willing to buy a FT version to make it worth their while.

 

Trust me, I'm looking at them but I have yet to find one in the right colors.

Of course a 1/72 is much too small for an MP display. The 1/48 was a decent size, but if you want close to a Skyfire size its going to need to be much larger than even 1/48. Also. that is a plastic model kit, not a finished piece.

 

Yup, seen this one, head looks wrong, no side head cannons   the one with the side head cannons and the fast trak armor is the wrong color.

Not to mention the lack of all the sweet boosters and such.

 

I don't know the inches on it, but here is a pic. I sold it awhile ago. They are pretty expensive now. It says it is around 32 cm high, that is about 12.5 inches. That must be the tip top of the head cannons.

and that is without the fast pack boosters, which would still need to be painted if you wanted red anyways...

That would be the ultimate Valkyrie toy, able to seat a 3.75 inch figure, make it transformable (drool).
