I have a trio of Detolfs that I use for Gundam models.

    But Transformers? That's just insane.

At least she won't bitch about TF budget anymore. And the town wasn't really that good anyway...

Na, I'm really cutting back on TF's the only thing I'm picking up for the rest of this year is MP Inferno. I've been selling stuff off for the last month or so, and if new TF's start showing up at the front door the wife would hit 11 on the Pissed off O' Meter.

Things are slow at work and I was board so I did some photoshopping to pass the time. That's why I've finally got all caught up on my checklists.

There are quite a few options out there that are better than Detolfs. And most cost four times as much, so I stick with Detolfs! They are the best bang for buck out there, even if they're not the best bang you can buy.

detolfs can look pretty good if you dress them up with the LED's (Dioder?), adjust the shelves, and get risers for the guys in the back. I also built cubes to raise them off of the floor some. Even with those upgrades, I'm still well below the price of most other all glass display cases.

The value is hard to beat.

lol, I think we found our new scapegoat instead of Kobayashi. I'm blaming detolfs for the MEH I feel about MP Hot Rod.

Seriously tho, I do like detolfs for their bang for the buck and they do look good, although I hate that they rattle when I walk by them... but for the price I can't complain.

I keep meaning to attempt Tigerblade's double detolf mod as I too can't cram more than 3 larger bots per shelf and even then with careful posing and angling, but no table saw on hand :(

I don't know what I'm going to do with Phoenix tho... good thing alt mode comes with landing gear...

oh hell will alt mode fit on one detolf shelf side to side/front to back??

Got this for the price of 2 detolfs, it's all filled up now too. I hate detolfs, they are cheap in price and construction

I had my shelves custom built. To me that is the best way to go. You get a real sturdy product compare to that retail stuff. Just saying. I'm sure there is a carpenter in your town who needs work. They can even put glass doors on them of course.

Nice find! I have been shopping around for a cabinet. I am looking for something similar. I like the idea having a cabinet maker build one.

This is an older shot. I have quite a few more additions since I took this.

No complaints about Detolfs for me.

I picked up one kind of similar to yours at a consignment shop for $200 mirror backed. LOVE IT! Pulaski Curio cabinet is what I think I was called. I've been looking for a second around where I live but no luck for over a year. It has fully adjustable shelves and think glass shelves, I recommend to anyone that comes across one to get it. Very very very little dust gets in.
