If you're talking about just letting him stand on a shelf, then pose him like this. Use both the thigh swivel and knee swivel so his legs open outwards. Do not bend his knee at all which might sound counterintuitive but actually helps his balance.

I couldn't find it listed in the Iacon Shop. However, this appears to be the same item on Etsy - Link

The helmet was not made by Iacon Shop, yeah Etsy is the place for them. I assumed he/she was asking about the Autobot/Decepticon chest insert.

I recently got a second hand X Phoenix for a really good price, but the crotch piece has yellowed. Any idea how to fix that?

Painting it is usually the only measure taken without become a chemist I've read. Since FT-10X is already painted.. didn't know the yellowed happened on that crouch that is already painted. Maybe it isn't sunburn and the paint weathered on that die-cast piece.

Unfortunately, the piece in question is not only painted but also diecast, so I don't know if it would still be the same.

If it's a diecast piece then it's the paint that's yellowed. I think the only solution is to paint it.

I wouldn't recommend those de-yellowing techniques you see on the internet, unless you really know what you're doing. They require you to completely disassemble things and remove all stickers etc etc anyway - it's far from easy. And yeah, wouldn't work on diecast.

Disassembly is only needed if you plan on submerging large areas or different pieces in hydrogen peroxide liquid. If you make a HP paste or "gel" and apply it where it can stick to only things you want whitened it's perfectly fine and relatively easy. But it doesn't do crap for paint AFAIK and I wouldn't submerge any metal on a figure.

Guys I was thinking on getting a Phoenix, how does he hold up? I know the whole waist thing, but will you recommend it by todays standards, specially since we know it's rather expensive.

    Thanks!

The dudes a work of art. I have most recent MPs and I’m still amazed every time I look at the shelf with him on it. Does he have some issues? What MP doesn’t?

100% agree. Phoenix is an amazing figure. Even with Takara's coming out, I'm still keeping my Phoenix.

I’m jumping ship to the Takara version so I’ll be selling my pair probably next month.

I haven't been able to sell mine at $220. EBay seems flooded with them.
