Was planning to purchase Phoenix when ShowZ's 11.11 sale began, but I woke up to discover that shortly after the 11.11 sale went live Phoenix was out of stock through them. I was incredibly bummed. Like, Christmas ruined bummed. So I began to scour the internet and stumbled onto someone who had the reissue listed on eBay for $275 + $30 shipping here in the states. I immediately jumped on that. With shipping and tax (grumble) I paid like $35 more than what I would have through ShowZ, but I should have him within a week instead of 15 - 35 days.

...and in less than a week, I now have my copy of Phoenix. My Season 1 Autobots are now 100% complete!

 

Does anyone know if Phoenix fits within a detolf shelf? If someone has an image to post I would be most thankful…

 

He does. I have him on a Detolf shelf, but no pics available at the moment.

It's actually a water slide decal. I purchased a set of these water appliqué decals from unclebilly sometime in the beginning of the year. I actually bought one sheet of each Autobots and Decepticons, and I have used well over half of the Autobots sheet while the Decepticons sheet remains intact.

I stand by these, they are phenomenal quality.

Just picked this up on eBay for $298...good price?

 

Last reissue was $279.99 for me but that was without tax and free shipping. So it's not terrible depending on the taxes and possible shipping.

 

With tax and shipping it was $352.

 

Hopefully this pops up somewhere "cheap".. Cus I'm starting to feel the Phoenix itch.

 

One thing I've learned with FT over the years is you will never lose money on reselling FT figures. The ones I have sold have either made me back what I had into them or a little more. I dont go for the full market value when I resell, but during covid I saw bugs going for $1000 a set, Dinos $2000 a set, Lupus for $700-900, Spotter for $700. If you can find a decent one now I would try to get it. When the reissue stock finally dries up it will start to creep up and not down in price.

There is a Fanstoys FB group and a guy on there that can get usually hard to find FT figures.
Or take the ebay gamble. I just saw a US seller on ebay selling at 399, but has make a offer. I got figures from ebay sellers by making reasonable offers before.

Like I said with FT you wont find them selling under their retail price unless they are broken.

 

FT-10 or FT-10X
I keep forgetting which ones are going for premium prices. I lean towards FT-10X myself just because I think it will withstand the test of time.

 

My reissued one around December '20 was a bit under $290 with a pre-order at BBTS.
