It may have changed since then, but in October Dalianjj said that after the Quakewave reissue the next three would Mercenary, Spotter, and Stomp. The order hadn't been decided between the first two, but Stomp would be third.

Thank you. A little patience and rationale right here.

This thread (and most others quite frankly) would benefit greatly from more posts like this one.

I can't believe I'm saying this but after botcon would be better for me anyways. By then I'll have ironhide, ratchet and ramjet (fingers crossed) in hand. And maybe even a 3p insecticon...

Has anyone done a mock-up of FT-07 Stomp next to HQ-04 Graviter?

really don't care about when we get FT's releases anymore. they are slow, yes, but they always deliver the goods.

just wish their head sculpter would stick to source material a bit more so these outrages upon protos or test shot reveals would actually be celebration. FT gets so much right and seems to always flub something on the face.

so far sludge has looked perfect. which actually scares me more then it should that something will get flubbed in the face when these start going out to reviewers.

fingers crossed, knocking on wood, etc. etc. sludge looks perfect don't change a thing and get him to retail :lol

FT's is so superior in every possible way, it's not even close!? To be honest...Giga's version is a besmirchment to the word 'masterpiece'...it looks embarrassingly terrible!

    And this too:

I never really associated GP's dinos as masterpieces, meaning they don't have that same aesthetics. They're more like updates to the toy, or a studio ox/IDW style. The only MP thing about them is their scale.

That said, it isn't like you had seen Stomp or official MP's 30 years ago and are waiting for them to come to market. The possibility of MP versions has only been around for the last several years. The point about being patient absolutely still stands as we really are talking about months, but having a prototype and preorder exist for nearly a year (sometimes more) can definitely be frustrating.

I'm well aware the Giga crowd is much like the MMC Feral Rex crowd back in the days :)  Do people still use the term "nuthugger"? hehe. Man, the insecurities some people have.....it's like if you ain't with me, you're against me mentality. Giga dinos are fine, just not for my MP display. If GP Snarl ever goes on discount, I may pick it up to see what the fuss is about.

Stomp looked pretty good in my eyes already. Seeing next to Gigas is a welcome sight as well. Gigas would be my go-to if i wanted gigantic G1 toys with articulation - I'm here for the MPs.

I'm not sure why FT is so intent on spreading themselves thin with new projects. Stomp basically represents guaranteed sales, so why not cash in on that first, build up some consumer goodwill in the process, and then move in other directions?

We all know why stomp isn't being released. Fanstoys knows that they have us by the balls. Those of us with the three existing dinobot releases are going to buy stomp whenever it is released given the lack of competition. With spotter, mercenary, and Willis next in line, I don't think fanstoys has any real clue when stomp will be released.
