Hey guys even tho I love my Stomp I got yesterday there is one thing I wish FansToys would have done is found a way to integrate his weapon storage,kinda like Takara does for their Masterpieces with a slot here or a peg hole there.Does anyone else agree?

 

WOW TFS just updated. Wont have my Stomp until Monday lol.
I will never order from them again. I ordered it the day it came in stock in like the first hour.
Look I'm really not upset about waiting but It's the lie. They must of never had them in stock until Friday. I should of waited and shipped my POL. Lesson learned!

 

As per my entire experience with this set..... Chrome blemishes and scratch marks right out of the box. I need new tail and shoulder wing pieces as the chrome is all spider webbed. :| need a new dino head as there is a scratch on it as well. Interesting there was no QC pass sticker on mine......

 

QC Pass 6 on mine.

 

I agree. I think it's important on forums such as these to warn each other about bad retailers/e-tailers and to take notice of good ones. when everyone has a good buying experience it reinforces the fun aspects of the hobby.

No Stomp for me yet, Toy Dojo received and shipped them Saturday(beat that TFS), but I did however receive a nice shiny new sword for my Scoria from the man himself, DalianJJ.

 

Best part about office-y work... I can keep my toys with me. =D

 

I agree that people are entitled to their opinions. there should be a place on the forum to privide feedback and discuss feedback about various retailers. But I do not think that place should be within a thread about the figure itself. Its like those 1 star reviews on amazon that are only rating the seller. It detracts from the topic at hand and needlessly dilutes the conversation. Just as my meta post about this topic and the responses to it.

Ultimately I stand by my initial sentiment that the tone of these comments rings of pouting spoiled children. "Where is MY toy? EVERYONE has the toys except ME!" I will never deal with X company EVER again due this OUTRAGEOUS treatment!" The total lack of patience and restraint is absurd and hollow. They will of course use the place again if they have a better price or it's available sooner. Once these people get their instant gratification this week its on to the next plastic idol they are worshiping and obesessing over. It gets so tedious seeing grown ass men behaving in this way. I assure you if any of your children behaved this way regarding something they compulsively desired, youd put them in check. Basically if a company doesnt provide the service you expect, deal with them

i have more attachment to the fanstoys figure i have that they provided replacement parts for because i broke it then the ones that are perfect and ive never molested with a screw driver

 

TFS shipped mine last week, got it Sat. Awesome figure!!

 

man i dont know how you office collection guys do it.. id be afraid of someone touching or stealing or breaking while im not there

i have total control of them at home

I think it has to do more with the blatant lack of communication and apparent lie that TFS did, there are people who ordered tuesday when it said it was in stock that had it ship on monday, which goes against what they advertised. Most people are patient if they are kept in the loop and not lied to

I'd be fine if something took longer as long as I knew it was going to take longer

ships same day doesnt mean ship 5 days later.

from appearances they only got a limited stock and were happy to take more orders than they had and passed it off as if they were ready to go

some people ordered the first day from TFS and had them some still dont have em

 

this thread doesn't represent a total review score of combined product and retailer scores either (like amazon), so I don't see the harm.

if this thread had a 1/5 star rating and it was due to TFS's shitty practices, and not the quality of stomp, there would be problems. but that's not the way it works here so I don't see the issue with people posting their gripes. especially when it is one retailer in particular that burnt a lot of people (and has a track record of doing so frequently).

Pretty much immediately transformed Stomp into Dino mode when I received him yesterday and he is so f'ing glorious in Dino mode that I don't wan't to transform him back. I do want him in bot mode as well since he is so imposing.....I think it's inevitable that I will be double dipping on this one. I'd love for them to do a blue version (like Scoria) even if it's not canon for a second one, but I'll just have to decide between a double or wait for the X version.

Anyone else here ordered from Primetoys? I'm still waiting on my Stomp from them. I'm missing out on this. I preordered it back in December. This might be my first and last time ordering from them. Not a happy camper.
