I don't think that's such a terrible thing. I don't give a shit about Macross.

 

I see that cruiser mode more like Ahgama than the Macross Quarter

The comment wasn't to any particular person, more of a general comment for those who weren't sure what the deal with the space cruiser was.

I think we see more deliberate design cues that it's an homage to Macross Quarter more than anything. Aside from the fact that both are transforming cruisers, the flight deck "arms" of Assaulter are more like Quarter's, and where the feet and legs are invoke the feel of Quarter as well. There's also the gun barrels right under the flight decks, again invokes the idea of Macross Quarter where the right arm is the giant Macross cannon.

 

On the other hand, the Argama is symmetrical, has a similar wedge-shaped bridge with a nosecone in front of it, with twin decks flanking it. And has a similar "legged" thruster configuration.

 

Anyone else notice the book being opened but flipped over?.....bet some goodies are on those pages.

 

Wow he's beautiful! So excited for him to come out. I didn't know about the extra face.

 

meh... although the 'Rage Face' kinda looks like BW's Magnaboss' one.

Only downside to the warbot series is they have die-cast in them...if they didnt have diecast they would be pure win!

 

anyone else as currious how the "alternate" white looking face/armor plates will work?

especially the cockpit...looks like it snaps into place or something?

Nov 30th? is that for all the people who pre-ordered on FPC? or is that the general release? when will they ship from FPC?

 

I believe the helmet face just rotates up like a motorcycle helmet's visor. The chest/cockpit thing seems to just rotate around; you can see it partially spun around in this photo:

 

judging by those weapons, i wonder if the handles will pull out into mini-knives?? ala bludgon's upgrade DX sized knives?

Seasick on water, afraid of heights and ugly! They should have made Blitzwing instead. What a waste of time and plastic.
