According to people who have seen the combined prototype on display at a HK toy shop, FPJ Menasor is slightly taller than the MT Giant  

 

While I don't like the small size of these guys individually, holding them in hand has assured me that Intimidator is going to be huge! Car Crash and T-bone in car mode will make for some pretty big lower legs!

I think most of the people there pre-order their Menosar, and the manager already said no photo, so I don't think they want to risk having their stuff cancel and piss off their source.

Maybe I'll get to see it when I head back to HK later this year, though most likely the whole thing will be out by then (late September).

 

They could at least write about what they saw for M3---is he mostly silver like the G1 toy, or mostly black like the animation? Etc. Assuming it was a colored version, there's a lot they could tell us about even without pics---we know NOTHING of the color-scheme so far.

Telling us his combined size really isn't anything new---they officially announced his height long ago. But "overall color scheme" would be a big help.

Isn't this the sort of item you put on window display anyway, not in some dark corner, inside the store?

I'd want sales! New items tend to give you that, so long as you let people know you have it or can get it.

 

Or at least how amazing it looks combined and coloured! Sigh. Imaginig how amazing the alt modes look together as well.

 

This actually piques my interest again.....they need to get shit like this out and online to get more ppl on board. The thing is in a shop for anyone to see for fuck sake, why the secrecy about putting pics online?

I mean, wow! Now that FoC Brut I would get. Damn Hasbro, even remolds of their old individual stuff could make for better combiners.




And come on, even in toy shows with the "no pictures" sign we get pictures made.
We need someone who doesn't shop it that store to go do some ninja style photo taking.

 

These are friggin awesome...and I don't even like most the FOC molds. That Dragstrip is phenomenal.

Truth. Dumbass probably doesn't let the customers in his shop look at it for more than 3 seconds straight either...

 

So I finally opened my T-bone and joining in with the party with a pic.



T-Bone had no issues transforming into car mode however has this annoying gap on the waist in robot mode.

 

His waist is on a swivle-bar that can be pulled in and out, perhaps it's not pushed in all the way? There should be no gapping between his crotch and chest.

 

There's a gap. It's the same mechanism as CC which had no issues but no sadly it won't budge.

 

Oh, I know what you mean--it's just the way he is. Part of the reason he's a smidge taller.

 

Pretty sure that's nut just the way he is, neither of mine have gapping in their waists.

After opening both up, I found out that their construction have some very minor difference other than details. The back piece on CC is connected via two hole which fits the screw holders while TB only has a tiny groove which goes inside the back pieces' screw holders.

Having fun though. These guys are hilarious! Very poseable and expressive.  

 

The official pics from FP show it, as do I think most of the other people's I looked at to assure myself that it wasn't just mine. Will look at more pics to check again.

my set has that tiny gap too, its just the way how the toy was designed. I really don't notice it, especially if they are posed. Unless you really take the time to look for it your not really going to notice it.
