As said or mention before the limbs for Not Stunticons will be the same or similar to the causality series, crossfire will be not-MM and will have all the add on parts or attachements.
also said to be in scale with current combiners from FP like Superion and Bruticus.

I do have to admit reading about how great it is and how were are going to love it when we see it is getting a little tiresome.

Couldn't agree more. If ppl have seen it at a convention then why the secrecy? If it was good enough to show there then why isn't it good enough to show the world?

Or am I missing something obvious here......

As per Transbot, it was only shown to a handful of people through an iPhone pic. So, basically nobody took a picture of the picture.

So they are going to be ~ the size of FoC Shockwave. I can dig that.

NOTE* I jump to that conclussion because currently on my desk I have the FP not-Insecticons with Shockwave next to them. And they are roughly the same size. Trying to get a figure perspective using an item most people may have.

Hey Megathread, well if anything can top TFC's Herc Megathread it'll be something from FP.

If they post official pictures, then have to change something in the design later - the fans will begin whining.
With the way FP does it now, a few people may say "hey, that looks a bit different than I remember", and that's it. No backlash.
It was mentioned that FP doesn't officially show anything before the third grey prototype. Which probably means Motormaster and the rest aren't quite there yet.

I say we sit back and relax, and be happy for those who did get to see more.

I just think scramble city sucks...usually equals compromises in at least one of the figures modes...hopefully, FP will be able to pull it off though...

I'd normally agree to this, and have used that same argument to explain why FOC Bruticus sucks before anyone else did (as far as I know), but I have faith in the fact that FP knows their customers, and know that they create for collectors instead of children/retailers. If FP does it, I believe they can do it right.

FPs just doing the G1-style "tack figure on and add appropriate kibble", though, so the figures won't be compromised much if at all.

Previous "modern" attempts at the Scramble City-style setup have been met with mixed results because they've also tried to make the figures entirely self-contained.

Right, the problem with FOC Bruticus is that the designers went the extra, extra, extra mile and made figures which had a foot, a left hand and a right hand each... the result is Vortex's karate hand. I've said it before: I don't mind partsforming in combiners.

if anyone will tackle scramble city features with the way that FANS wants it, FP is our best choice to try anyways. I think they will do well.

Fully integrated is always nicer as long as it's done right, but mild partforming probably works better for Scramble-City figures, because either you wind up with ugly mishmashes of parts, or you end up with all the limbs looking same-y and generic.

Either way, as long as the parts do something when not being used as Combiner kibble, I have no real qualms with either approach.

Looks like the alt modes will be close enough. I'm sure the colors will be close if not spot-on. And it looks like we may get the whole thing for close to or under $300. Sign me up.
