Currently only FPC will be distributing the said figures. It'll eventually trickle down to the regular vendors like BBTS and such.

Gah, that's terrible. Not unexpected, but I'm really disappointed in this.
Sorry FPC, but I'm not paying $50 for shipping when I can get a much bigger, and heavier, product shipped from elsewhere for almost half that price.
Yes, I'm beating a dead horse. but this "exclusive" approach is really killing my interest in fansproject.

I don't know if it matters to anyone, but looking at the first two stunticons, their physical appearance seems like they have the same transformation.

Honestly I've come to the conclusion that -in general- price isn't an issue for me. If it's $1000 and it looks like it's worth $1000, I'll consider saving up and buying it.

Now I've never seen a figure that I'd pay $1000 for, but I'd like to.

Someone said that Wildrider, Breakdown, and Dead End have a similar skeleton/mold.

It would be nice if they transformed a bit differently, but I'm still interested in getting it. Just an observation.

I don't think it's accurate to say these will only be sold at FPC. I think all the word has been that the first run of Steel Core was for FPC.com members, as a reward for their support.

Steel Core himself will be sold at TFS, BBTS, RK, all the usual suspects - hell FPC only had 800 up. Do you think FP really intends to sell only 800 of these babies? no way!

Likewise, FansProject has had the support (financial or otherwise) of many of these online stores and won't cut them out of the "regular" release of their upcoming stuffs, so stop worrying.

Yes, like I said, it was mentioned before that they'll eventually have SteelCore with the different online retailers. For now, these figures will only be available via FPC. Since SC was their first run with the online store, I'm sure they'll be able to get a better hold of shipping stuff out to people outside of North America with the succeeding runs of different offerings.

Or, you know, people could buy figures at whatever price level they feel comfortable with. Without you telling them what they should buy.
I'm planning on getting these, but it's still not your place to tell people what they should buy. If you feel they're worth the price, great. Say that.

^ Nice. So size is between a large-ish Scout or smallish Deluxe? The not-Stunticons shouldn't be too horribly under or over-sized compared with FP Colossus and MT Giant then. (Vehicle scale, that's another matter, but the final combined mode is all I really care about.)

I don't mind them being smaller, really glad that they won't burn the hole in the wallet as fast as TFC Uranus will.

Hmm, jumping in here, but it looks like Breakdown is a Lamborghini Aventador, and Wildrider is of unknown make (to my eyes)

Hoping that we get a Koenigsegg for Drag Strip or some other Le Mans inspired Street Car and an older Porsche for Dead End.
