I've gone back and forth on whether to sell these boys. For a while I had them on my sale list for $175 but no takers, but I messed with them one day and fell in love again.

 

That's beautiful man... I'd buy that as a set IF they offer it at reasonable prices benchmarked to what other 3P product offerings are like these days.
The FP pricing of old won't sit well with buyers these days as choices are now aplenty.

Edit: I missed an important bit out... I'd buy it with new head sculpts that reflect the autobots and not as a straight-up repaint as that'll suck.

 

Never really understood why people want Menasor colored as the Autobots from the Masquerade episode. They literally looked like the stunticons not like autobot colored stunticons.

 

The novelty. I like the idea.

I would like it more if those 5 actually combined and looked like themselves. Optimus, Jazz, Mirage, Sideswipe, and Windcharger.
No, that Combiner Wars stuff isn't good enough. I'd like a 3P Stuntibot set. Pipe dream, I know.

 

Nah, I couldn't be bothered about that (cartoon) but would like to see this FP Stunticons set given new head sculpts and minor tweaks to then be my Combiner Wars version of Optimus Maximus (I think that's what they called him).
The Autobot redeco above actually looks great but not without mods.

 

This is the best looking Stunticon set available but sadly too small for classics and too big for legends.

 

I disagree, i love using this size combiner for legends. I have their bruticus with addons and their superion with add ons just standing huge over all the legend guys. I also have Maketoys Giant coming because i feel that the legends scale one looks really small next to ultra magnus...

I'm in the same boat. Would buy this set in a heartbeat for Classics if the cars were around deluxe class and Motormaster appropriately sized.
There aren't any KOs that did this have there? I don't believe there have been...

yeeeeesh. for the uninitiated, the blue text denotes sarcasm and the phrase "that ship has sailed" doesn't mean there's no interest, just that the conditions that would make such a thing possible are no longer present.

it is very unlikely that we will ever see anything done with these molds officially again. i still enjoy them tho. should pull them out of storage at some point.

 

I would agree if it were any other company than FP. They're marching to the beat of their own drum.

 

I don't mind their smaller size in bot modes. He's the best looking Menasor and that size matters to me the most.

 

Apart from the price, I love this set of Stunticons. I waited almost 3 decades to get a set of Stunticons that scale with the Diaclones.

Motormaster is the only disappointment. Mainly because his transformation is ridiculously complicated.

Also he's smaller than I prefer and I wish his head was based on the original toy rather than the animation model.

 

I still have extra Diesel in the box if anyone is looking. Only opened to make sure nothing was broken.

Marching to a beat of a drum would require making some kind of "noise". FP doesn't make noises, they're silent AF.  

The one from DMY? I've been after it for some time now (er, mainly the Dragstrip upgrades). Sold out everywhere. Been looking like a mofo for months.

 

I was actually helping FP with the G2 decos of this set few years back when it was still on the table. It never did go ahead, and I suspect probably never will still.

It's a shame as I still like the toys. But eh probably wouldn't buy the g2 set today though, not with multiple mp menasors on the horizon and DX9 especially likely to make one that'll look mind blowingly amazing in the g2 palette. But eh maybe I'll get theirs in g1 and wait patiently to see what Zeta does, their set could also be amazing and very likely get the g2 treatment too.
