definitely worth it at that price. I eventually bought two sets from different sources at about that and the shells too, so have two sets and they fit in perfectly with my United Warriors combiners

now if only someone would do combiner wars devastator at combiner wars size arghhhhhh

 

TFSource has Green Giant marked down to $199

TheChosenPrime has all 5 Glacialbots, $20 for the limbs and $30 for the torso. BTW it's $30 cheaper to buy the individual figures ($110) than buying the listing for all 5 ($139). If the listing for all 5 was a gift set or came with something extra, it might be worth it.

 

Green Giant looks great in combined mode, and looks great in vehicle mode but majorily misses the mark on the robot modes. they would have to discount that baby down to a 100 dollars for me to bite. too bad as its really the only combiner wars size devastator out there

 

If only these had been the Monstructor Team.

 

I'm TF Victory fan and I like Dinoking. It's nice that he is spared by Victory Saber. I'd like to see their final dialogue, when Dinoking joined to Autobots.

 

So is it a common problem that the guns for these two don't fit? If so, how did you solve the problem? Sand down the handles?

 

I can't speak to Dino Go as i've yet to find a way to buy him without getting assaulted by UK customs.

But I didn't have to modify the gun on Dino Ichi in anyway *Though I don't use them with guns* - did you mean the fit in his hand - or some function of the combined weapon mode ?

I do enjoy these game I'd enjoy them 10 times more if they were the same size as a Wei Jiang headmaster though. or even Ordin parts.

 

I meant in individual robot mode holding the guns. I don't want to force it. I'll try again.   Thanks for the reply.

 

I finally finished this guy over the holiday between Christmas and Birthday presents and while I like him a lot the hips on mine are exceptionally loose. I'm guessing this isn't isolated and part of the design. Has anyone had any luck tightening up the hip joints and ankle joints?

i couldn't get with the pretender shells but i still love this combiner

 

Same here, but now that the trend is 18" combiners he's starting to look a bit short in my collection. I'd really like to see Jinbao work their magic on these guys as well as give us the repaint we all want.

 

Fansproject did such a good job on this group overall. I picked up the pretender shells for $20 a pop last Black Friday. Guilty pleasure.
Wished the combiner was a little taller, but I'm thinking on a way to mis-transform it to make the legs a little longer for those time.

 

I wish I could make up some weapon pods that double as thigh extenders for combined mode. Would really make him fit better next to MP Star Saber and TFC Trinity Force. They would work by connecting between the shins and Ryu-Oh's thighs. Any custom parts makers up to the task?  

His shins are decently sized but Dinosan's combined mode thighs come up too stumpy. I think Ryu-Oh's overall proportion could benefit from this, not to mention a slight size upgrade.

 

I'd so like those shells :/

 

I have not supported one 18in combiner ugh, I'll stick with GT/TFC/MMC, when they stop their current sizes I'll stop buying combiners
