Finally got a chance to play with this guy. Great figure. Transformation is actually quite intuitive after the first pass. So far no warping on the drill rachet.

Sixknight's face looks the same as Quickswitch except that the visor isn't down and the chin strap isn't painted.

I am glad Sixnight appears to be coming. With Greatshot, I can complete the sixchangers!

I haven't bought a Hasbro/Takara-Tomy product in, oh, over a year. Even with some awesome Combiner Wars figures (which I've hardly seen) I'm now collecting about one, or two, third-party or higher-end figures a year.

I can't wait to get my MADLAW!

Ok, so, my impatience in having to wait two more weeks for Knight, I got MADLAW. He's... pretty cool. Some modes are better than others.

How in the heck do you secure the arms to the wings of the jet mode? It seems like there should be holes for them to peg into, but there aren't. You can't get them flush to the wing if you fold the forearms until they peg.

So this figure (MadLaw & Knight) come with messed up teeth (right out of the package) on the ratchet drill? Is there a fix or mod? Please and thank you.

I shaved mine as soon as I got him. I moved it and it still crushed a little. I shaved some more. I repeated that process over a few times until is wasn't crunching..

I got MADLAW last week, and mine was rife with quality issues. He had loose hips, and ratcheting joints. I was not impressed. I am now wondering if Fansproject is letting their quality go down.

Are there any Shapeways guys making replacement gears/teeth for this figure?

As others stated slight sanding and testing is the best method. I sanded mine down right out of the box and mine has extremely minimal wear on a few spots from the factory. I am not sure if you seen the one I was selling at FrankieCon but it was the same one.

I thought about it but then again mine was so minimal that I didn't think it really needed a full blown replacement.

Yeah, I opened up the chest cavity on SixKnight and he is tore up from the floor up. I've trimmed the sides and sanded the teeth but it's smooshed on the inside. Looks like crap.

That sucks, FP really dropped the ball on this QC problem. I'll take a look at the gear again when I get home and see what it would take to draw up a new one.

So I pulled it apart and it can be done in a shapeways strong and flexible material. However since the diameter of the ratchet is so distorted it is going to take at least 3 test prints if not 5 to get it "right". So I would like to gauge interest in the TF community on purchasing this as a replacement before I spend an excess amount of time and money on my part. How many would actually order this? I would guess the part would be about $12 to $14 plus $4.99 shipping in the US directly from shapeways.

    Thoughts?
