It's the diaclone version. I'm not sure if there was any difference in where they were sold and where this one would have been sold.

I'm embarrassed at just how anxious I've been about this, and at just how excited I am to see this news.

 

I love the irony of TCP's post being dated today (12-03-2014) and the picture included with his post being dated available October of 2014. I know it's nobody's fault about the delay but that did make me smile.

I hope he has the red head too, even though I like the black and don't care about it I hope he does for those of you who do care.

 

So once Toy Dojo gets this the wait for Felisabre begins, (sigh). I really wanted this guy right away. Stupid Felisabre.

 

I knew it. I knew that if I shipped my POL he'd get released soon after. Oh well.

I understand what you're saying. Though to be fair, the Exclusive version was released in October during TFCon Chicago.

 

Yeah, but that was not the one advertised as the one to be released in October. So even arguing semantics Cubrar didn't release as advertised. Still funny, still makes me smile.

 

I'm pretty sure that they were doing extra QC testing after some of the TFCon Cubrars had problems with one of the shoulders being assembled badly and breaking.

 

And when mine does not break, I will be grateful for that. Also where did you read about them breaking? I pretty much haunt these threads, if you look over in the corner you can see my cot, and I don't remember hearing about it more than maybe once. I'm curious to see how prevalent that problem was.

Yeah, I remember that one, but were there a lot more? I don't remember a ton that's why I'm asking. I'm not denying they exist, I'm sure they do, I just don't remember a whole ton of them. But that could be because they were on a different forum sight that I don't know about.

And I'm keeping my cot. My mommy bought it for me.

 

I'm pretty sure that's the post Dek is referring to: "I don't remember hearing about it more than maybe once".

Doesn't seem like a widespread issue and might not be the cause for the retail delay. Considering that retail version is mass produced in greater quantity, it might have taken the factory a greater length of time to get the retail batch done. Either that or the factory is jam-packed with production orders from other manufacturers and cubrar retail version was slotted into a latter production period. Then again, we're speculating.

 

Mine did it as well, and Eddie from ToyDojo mentioned that he's been passing on info from about two dozen people to FP about it.
