None taken. As someone who likes the "of Cybertron" game style figs, it's a no brainer realizing that not everyone will have the same tastes. This being said and now that RotDS is released. I hope both Has/Tak and 3rd party companies (primarily Planet X) tackle on the new characters released in Escalation as well as the ones that haven't been already.

As much as some agree that FP is starting to wear off on them, FP's product and Planet X's are two different design/series. Though people might be tired of FP, they will not fill the gap for those that prefer the FoC/WfC style aesthetics and vice-versa for Planet X and classics/other styles.

Now weather they choose to do so with mentioned companies above, that's of their concern alone

Definitely in for IDW Dinos by FP for my Classics display. They look so dynamic and chunky! The neat little minicons are just icing!

Dino-mode proportions are fantastic. LOVE those beefy lower legs!

Finally we get classics Dinobots! I was so close to settling for FOC Swoop but those figures are too small and I don't really like his design.

Now Fansproject, once this is done, please do a classics Shockwave!

I think it's almost a given that at least one review of this figure will come out of TFCon.

Perfect size for Columpio, IMO. And Grimmy.

I'll preface this by saying I think it looks great, as do the other grayscales, but I expect I'll be shouted down for saying I wish that FP would have taken this opportunity in "updating" these guys to engineer away a bit more of the hanging bits in robot mode. All the dino heads and legs just sort of hanging around have always bothered me, and I think something more clever could have been done with them as long as someone's finally doing the Dinobots some justice.

Personally, I'm glad they kept all the hanging bits. I didn't like how FT did away with the dino legs in bot mode.

I've recently sworn off 3rd-party stuff, but this release looks very impressive (and was totally unexpected...happened to see it randomly at BBTS).

I like Dinobots, but Planet X's design choices made it easy to stay away (they all look a bit off to me). It'll be a lot harder to resist this. This is close enough to G1 and is a CHUG-sized Dino to boot. Ugh. Should I just put away the $500 now?

I can go either way. I like how scoria hide the legs inside the bot mode legs but there were a number of people who like the legs hanging off look. At least with the legs it does serve to bulk them up a bit. I do with the head didnt hang off the back so much but not a deal breaker, everything else about this looks great to me.

I'll likely end up just enjoying them vicariously via video reviews, as with all third party wallet-breaking coolness. :)

Well...shit. Have to consider whether to splurge on this.

May have to pass if they're at the same price point as their not-Stunticon set.

You know, I was just thinking yesterday why bother with a classic dinobot when I can get an mp scaled one....but that sludge is gorgeous, and his targetmaster is a freaking axe thing? Awesome.

Pre-orders are already up at BBTS. $103. Voyager-Ultra sized. Make your decision.

He won't be any cheaper anywhere else because FansProject price-sets, ensuring standardized prices across the board.
