I hope you realize that we're on a board dedicated to buying and collecting brightly colored transforming toys, "juvenile" things should of course be expected because quite honestly so long as it's a fun figure in the long run I doubt too many people will actually care and those that do can just paint it up or mod it or something like what happens with nearly every other figure that comes out.

 

 

I'm not a prude, and I love encouraging new and interesting figures... but when I see this, I feel like it puts one one (dangerous) step closer to becoming collectors of these...

And it sure seems there are a lot of people who just don't get these at all. As FP is from asia and female figures are quite popular in asia, a lot more than they are in the west, this follows many of the anime girl trends. Girls with plane parts on them? Girls with warships strapped to their ass? Cyborg girls in super sexy posses? These are all things you find are pretty popular in asia. I totally see where the girl dinos are going with that, sexy is in.

Serious, if you don't like it you really don't need to buy it. or if you really MUST buy it then perhaps you can cut them off with an exacto or paint over them or if you really prefer, you can have them displayed with the boobs in like the misstransformed photos from Singapore.

 

Look, y'all need to just drop this, or I'm gonna start a waifu war up in this joint. And there ain't nobody gonna be happy about that once I'm done.

whats the price on these ? any clue ?

my daughter keeps on asking for these girls but I really do not want to support these guys anymore due to their handling of Dinoking .

 

The difference between those three (and the boxer-shorts Grimlock) and Echara is that all of them have parts that are colored in such a way that resembles clothing on a human form... but Echara has a demicup just sort of painted over her parts. If it were a separate piece of hardware, I wouldn't have any problem with it, but this is a stripe painted across her chest to resemble a bra, and so it just doesn't match the aesthetic common to Transformers. It's not a matter of the model's subjective femininity, but rather of its arbitrary painted on clothing, which is not something the others have. Blackarachnia, Thunderblast, even Tomy's Arcee with the bikini bottom... it's always curved hardware pieces separated by seam lines, rather than just painted on clothing deco.

 

We don't know yet but a lot of people are speculating in the high 50-70 dollar range

I will agree with that, with the exception that we have yet to see actual good, clear pice. Maybe the mold lines are there? Maybe it'll look better in person, because all the pics have been undeniably terrible.

 

I'm still seeing three sets of claws on her... can't figure it out. A pair on her calfs, behind her forearms, and on her shoulders... ???

 

There DO appear to be mold lines on the edge of the "cups"(and I can't believe I just said that, lol).
They're easier to see in the picture of the unpainted prototype.

Regarding the three sets of claws, they're there in some pics and not in others. Maybe it's an example of design revision?


In any event, I'll be getting these if only to support to creation of original and female characters.

 

Someone just put extra claws on the the figure.

The claws on the arms are removable and can be displayed either on her arms or on her shoulders. Up to you how you want to place them.

Don't know if the actual figure will come with three sets, pretty sure only 2.
