Well seeing as Fansproject are asking for us to send in ideas to them, I thought it'd be good to see what ideas you guys have or will submit to Fansproject, I haven't sent any yet but I'm working on it right now. So what've you guys come up with so far?
A set of cool weapons to arm TF figures. Rifles, handguns, shotguns, granade launchers.... You get the idea.
I would like to see a voyager class figure homage to Galvatron. The Universe Classics Galvatron deluxe figure was a disappointment to me. I know some were suggesting an upgrade like the Protector armor, but I would rather see FP's take on the character as a voyager sized figure.
I'll definitely second/third/fourth the idea of Galvatron. Whether it be an add on to Classic Megatron or a completely new figure. As long as he is bigger or the same size as Classic Megs, looks like Galvy (torso and face-most important), and turns into a cannon or futuristic gun, I really don't care. Oh, it be cool if he came with alternate faces like City Commander, I'd kill for a calm cool face and a crazy laughing face. I'm also for the release of different fembots. Elita-One, her crew (including the two that are always in the background and have never done anything), new Decepticons, really any female Transformer. My classic display is greatly missing fems. I'd kill for some decent price ones or expensive ones if they are actually worth the price. The Igear sponsored Arcee is close, but she feels 50-60 dollars overprice after getting Defendor. I mean seriously, they expect me to pay $30 more on Arcee after getting a more complex figure with more metal and more paint apps?
At the rate these fan companies put out product, I'd assume they have enough for the next couple decades, and that's if they only use the ideas they really like! I'd be interested to see someone tackle some Animated-based subject matter, but Fansproject seems to work better with new designs for older characters.
Extending from this idea, have them based on War for Cybertron, because we definitely need WFC weapons. Presumably, have them capable of fitting over or otherwise around the figures' hands (when Optimus' hands fold away, the fist-holes point forward--if there were, say, a peg coming from the back of the gun, it would fit perfectly in there). And cap off the set with a turret with detachable gun that can fit over the figures' arms.
in my opinion if your gonna do a better galvatron your gonna need to one up the energon voyager one cause right now in my book energon Galvatron is the shit, and represents him well. So its MP size or nothing
I would expand on the weapons for classics. And proper null rays for all the seekers,and new vtol engines that are 2 pieces that clip on the wings as a 1 piece. Might be too small for fp though.
I think it would be better if they just went ahead and made an entirely new set. I mean if you're gona waste time polishing that turd.... might as well take that time to create 6 new figs.
I think the add on kits worked out well for Superion and now Bruticus. I agree that Classics Devs isnt the greatest looking combiner but i thought the same about Superion until the Appendage kit came out.
Re-issue the Cliffjumper set would be nice. Outside of that, an MP Ultra Magnus Trailer would be nice.
I would just like to see them finish that custom combiner they started. A combiner designed from the ground up by Fansproject is damn near guaranteed to be the best designed/engineered combiner anyone has ever seen.
