From the sound of it, they plan to do them all. I, too, want 'em all. Including both Minerva and Nightbeat as remolds (NOT REPAINTS, Nightbeat needs his visored head) of each other. I'd like to have Siren and Go Shooter different from each other, but I can see them easily making them the same using light gray.

 

How about an FP Fortress Maximus?

For obvious reasons which I wont name here, take anything that FP says at conventions with a grain of salt. Don't have high hopes for it is all I am saying as a general statement. Can happen, or it might not, but don't base it on anything said at conventions when it comes to FP.

 

Not only that... but I'm sure they'd "like" to do about a million things. Still gonna cross my fingers though... almost all the headmasters are awesome... I especially love the designs of later Decepticon monsters like Fangry, Horribull and Squeezeplay.

 

Yeah, I learned my lesson. I don't believe shit that FP says. Not only was MSRPx3 almost 2x the "rumored" price, but where is that fucker?

With FP, I believe it when it is released and in my hand.

This design has taken FAR TOO MANY artistic liberties and for that reason I will not be buying it. Come on, his head doesn't even look anything like Mindwipe.

 

Well Mindwipes G1 motto was something like

'One look at me and you've lost'.

 

Uh, guys? None of the other teasers at the back of the instruction booklets featured the next character's name. Just a little line of teaser text and the pic of the monochrome proto. So we still don't know what to call FP's mindwipe.

 

He still looks sweet, and anyone who is familair with the lore knows what character this toy is a homage too.

 

And considering alot of the these 3rd Party offerings tend to be to give adult collectors modern updates of characters that Has/Tak is unlikely to make new toys of, I'd say most people interested in it will know right off the bat (haha) that it's Mindwipe.

 

sucks you cant appreciate it, the only thing not mindwipy about his head are the ear/spikes, otherwise its pretty damn close

Yea, the new head is incredibly awesome, and fits so well into his bat/vampiric theme. So much better than the run of the mill G1 head design of the original.

 

FP would be making a big mistake not to continue the line as long as they are selling well. I want to see their hardhead since I am selling my tw version. I think skullcruncher was after mindwipe, right? wasn't their also a Minerva in the works?
