For me i think this replaces masterpiece prime as the essential transformer figure to own.

I know I already asked, but is there anything about the Energon purple helicopter or Energon Barricade that make them significantly worse to fit in with this set than the RotF figures? I like Barricade's blue for Onslaught, but I can't tell really from the pics if anyone else might throw it off. The Energon figures do seem like they may be too bright.

All the accessories are color matched to ROTF Onslaught. While nothing is matched to the limbs, the limbs all have approximately the same degree of color saturation. This just means if you use the Energon limbs, they might appear too bright compared with the more neutral-looking ROTF Onslaught and Fansproject limbs.

It probably won't look terrible, though.

Unless you plan on putting Barricade into the modified flatbed alt. mode. That'll look kinda weird, with the non-matching colours.

i got a chance to see these figures first hand, transform them and put it together as bruticus since i know the reviewer and fuck me man it is sooooo good.

i do not know what the hold up is or was because I see nothing wrong with this set. both figures transform easily and have so much character. so many guns and accessories. i am tempted to get 2 sets so i can have the bots in my classics collection and combined for bruticus.

the plastic quality is fantastic and feels like it is part of the rotf bruticus set. the shoulder attachments are done quit well. everything fits and snaps into place without force or fear of breaking or stress marks.

this set rules. if anyone has any doubts, just buy it and if you dont like it someone will deff buy it off you! LOL!

The most recent hold up was apparently because the shoulder parts didn't fit Energon Bruticus Maximus properly, so they adjusted the parts accordingly.

    This video is drool tastic!

I pre-ordered them when they came up, but never picked up the ROTF set, as it was already getting into the 40-50$ range. While I'm not hell bent on getting it (yet), it surely look awesome when combined! But at least the 2 stand alone figures are awesome in their own right so no big loss for not have the full set.

Now if there was a good deal on a ROTF set I ould definitly get one :)

Next thing I want to see is an even better Devastator kit to go along the Classics combiner!

Finally had a chance to watch the review. I was already sold on this set but this just further cemented the money I spent being well worth it.

    What a fantastic review!

Wasn't sure on this, as it's a lot of money to throw down, but the review pushed me over the edge. So much play value, such an improvement over the original mold. I cannot wait.

I know people have asked about color matching to Energon Bruticus before, but is there any chance someone with these puppies could post a picture of E Onslaught, Brawl, and Vortex used to make Bruticus? It would be awesome to see what it would look like!
