    OMG!

Puts all their old work to shame LOL! F*** a CityCommander I want this!

I would like to see Hasbro make a line for collectors (TCC is a joke) and Takara to stop dick'n around with Disney sh*t and Alternity (it's cool and all but...) make some REAL TransFormers!

I have one problem with this set: The Fansproject bots & accessories actually make the Hasbro bots look rather crummy by comparison. Not saying the Hasbro ones are crummy, but for some reason Blastoff and Swindle just look so much better to me. I got rid of my Bruticus set but I'll probably get the set just for the two new bots.

Now I can't help but wonder... Now that pieces for both the Superion and Bruticus limbs exist, will FP release a combo set of parts to use with the TCC exclusive combiner?

I have never before been this close to buying two $50 Scout Class figures as I am at this moment... :dunce

I was thinking the same thing... this set raises the bar a LOT! At this point, FP should just keep going and give us a new Brawl and Vortex too... or at least some replacement heads and upgrade parts!

This is my perdicament...I hope I can find one at a Target for $30, otherwise it looks like I'll be paying the $50 BBTS has the set listed at. Damn I hate when awesome custom sets make me pay more for a set, that I originally was not interested in.

That is HANDS DOWN the best combiner-set of all time!

I don't think I care for the smaller ones by themsevels--I agree with those who said Swindle and Blastoff of don't fit (actually, I think its the other two smaller ones that don't fit), but when they form Bruticus, they put Predaking to shame.

I want this set, but I need to get Bruticus first. Which set matches best? Do we even know the final colors for Swindle and Blastoff?

They'll likely be in G1 colours. Fansproject had a digibash of Explorer on their site with a grey-brown colourscheme, with black and purple highlights.

Munitioner will most probably be mustard, with purple highlights.

It'll be colour-matched to the RotF/Universe version, which has the more G1-esque colours for Vortex and Brawl, plus is the most readily available version of the toy.

I somehow doubt that either of these Crossfire sets would have been made if Hasbro hadn't released the RotF versions of these toys. The Energon versions are too hard to obtain now for it to be a worthwhile pursuit for FP.

Too much mental conflict - I think I want that little Swind... sorry, "Munitioner" more than I actually care about having an updated Bruticus.

I wonder how many color schemes these thingies will eventually be released in.

I don't know how FansProject didn't register on my radar for these stellar figures they are creating, but seeing these figures and those accessories really have caught my attention. I am glad I pre-ordered these sets and can't wait to have these in my hands. I also can't wait to see any future projects they have lined up for us, especially those glacierbots thing I am starting to hear about.
