I got the shipping notice late Thursday Night (8ish) and he arrived today!!! Whoa I thought I was gonna have to wait till mid-next week but Tfsource must have told em to hurry up or something.

He is way cooler then I thought, and I thought he was gonna be pretty cool. Love everything about the sets.

As others have said, although the pics and videos make this set look impressive, you have to have it in your hands to see how awesome it is.

God, the original ROTF Bruticus looked silly compared to this...

And to everybody complaining about how long it's taking to fill their preorders: TFSource is obviously busting their ass to get these out. Mine weren't packed up to their usual high standards. They arrived completely fine, but missing a few things that they usually use to make damn sure that the items are secured.

Got my 2nd set from TF source today, might buy a 3rd set later so I can have them in alt and robot mode but that means i would need another ROTF bruticus and im not sure if itll be worth spending the extra cash on that

Just opened my set toady, and HOT DAMN this thing is AWESOME!!!  


Did anyone else get a spaz attack when they opened their Explorer and couldn't find the sword? I thought "WTF, I got jipped!" But then I started to fiddle with the figure and it just fell out. lol

 

From Kmart? Have fun with your Jetblade and Ravage.

Ok so am I mistransforming here?? I have seen in most pics on here that this part is not folded into the cab of the truck. I never combined Bruticus Maximus so im not sure if when combined I have that part the wrong way.

 

That's not where the instructions say to put it, but I wouldn't call it a mistransformation. I kind of prefer those wheel panels folded in like that.

 

Folded open is the correct way, it covers Onslaught's arms and hands, allows the whole chest section to line up better, and they hearken back to the wings of the G1 chest plate.

 

It looks ok to me. Here are some quick cell phone pics of mine. Mine was a bit off for a while but I messed with it and the whole chest area is straight, flush, and solid.

 

There is no wrong way, it is all about preferance.

 

What he said, Fansproject prefers them displayed out, Energon had them placed in cause thats how the transformation is supposed to happen with this toy mold, when i get it im going to try both and see which one works.

 

anyone else think they should repaint them into Rollbar and Movor from RID? It would probably match with the Energon version better.

 

It'll be interesting what colors the repainted Munitioner/Explorer could be since we need to know what base figures set they will be aiming at. Can anyone list some of the possible figure sets they might be using them for? Are there anymore other than the Energon version? Is Super Link different?
