ToyArena's dates, even though they give specific ones, are still an estimate.

While it would be super cool, I doubt they'll get them in tomorrow, and they'll probably just change their expected arrival date to the end of the month.

You mean August 15th :(  Funny thing is I checked them last night and it said "in stock" not pre-order.

As much as I want these guys, I'm not shipping my POL until at least the end of September w/ December being more likely, so going into August would be nice for my wallet. It will be a heck of a Christmas though :D

    Fans Project Bruticus Upgrade...

Well, I figured it was going to happen...just checked on my order with TFSource to see the status, and they have now changed the expected receipt of Blast Off and Swindle to be Mid to Late August....

I KNEW this was going to happen...this thing was supposed to be released back in the spring..and here were are going into mid summer.....I hope this delay means a EXTREMELY high quality final product :)

There never really is a "supposed to release on" date with Fansproject until the retails shops have them in hand. Every product they've ever done has seen delays like this.

yeah, there always delays with fansproject but the more impatient you are, the longer the wait. Its a great accessory, no doubt about it.

I'm glad I paid early this year. The $'s value has skyrocketed since then (and the Hungarian Forint went down) so it'd have cost me much more if I ordered it now.

Damit now you guys got me preordering from TF source, but coincidentally i just purchased the Universe Bruticus set on clearance from zellers so now that i have the base unit may as well go all the way, i love Bruticus, i have the original G1 version and he gets lots o love, i just wish they made a current generation computron cause he was my favorite of all the scramble city combiners

^ So the rumor at BotCon was true. Who knew the different releases had enough of a molding difference to make that a problem?

:)  Yay. Glad to have a date and a reason. Excited for these guys! I was just thinking the other day how impressive it was that they could make things like CC and the crossfire kits. They have to fit on existing products which can have variances between figs and when you add the variance of the add-on to that, the quality of their fit is pretty amazing.

But if it fits some versions, and not others, a mold difference is the only possibility. It doesn't have to be something major and easily noticed.
