    So Fansproject held off this thing since 2009 then release it under the name Fansproject core. That's hilarious. They definitely thought of a way to protect themselves. Good job FP.

    Probably just a matter of not having had a chance to release it before then. They've been pretty busy, and I believe everyone in FP DOES have day jobs.

    Looks great. I'm definitely in for this, as I feel Broadside is one of those characters that is waaaaay down in Hasbro's priority list.

    I think it started as a Broadside homage but was put on the back burner because Broadside isn't a very popular character, so they went on with Protector, the Insecticons, etc.
    Now that they're launching figures that aren't direct homages, there's room also for this!

    I bought the Warbot Defender and was really pleased with it. So if Assaulter is released I'll be buying it for sure.

    BTW does anyone know if FP is planning a homage to Blitzwing? It's my favorite triple changer and I really want a new mold of the toy since the one from Animated line sucks.
