I would, if it's Leader sized.

I would maybe. I'd prefer an ultra size at about $125. If its a good looking leader class maybe I'd bite but I don't think it will be that big to be honest. Just giving examples of a pricing structure I see being the trend.

In Australia the larger retail chains often start Leader Class toys off in the $89 to $100 bracket, so either of those Ultra or Leader class price theories wouldn't be too much of a stretch for me if the figure was desirable. Of course there's a few different criteria for that. Of course as Cecilia said, the altmodes will be key factors. For me this also implies the transformation - indeed transformations - have to be good too; I woudn't be to eager to shell out $125+ for an assemblage of a dozen or so hefty chunks of plastic and die cast, good looking though they may be. After all, we would be entering the size and price of Masterpiece figures here, though FP desrve credit for attempting credible looking triple changers nevertheless.

You seem to have gotten the part I forgot to post right from my mind.

When I mentioned alt modes I thought transformation too (was in a hurry) nothing overly complex, but not too simple, just fun, I mean there are TF toys were you get that exact point where transfmation never frustrates you with hard to align pannels, very small, too loose or too tight peg/holes, parts which can get stuck if not gflipped perfectly right etc and still being more than 5 simple steps or if its just a few steps, being something different and insteresting in terms of mechanics.

And to that effect the alt modes are quite important.

Also in my experience, all triple changers get screwed in one mode, sadly for Warbot Defender, it was the robot mode, at least I can´t stand those legs. But with Assaulter robot mode is fine so the main mode is okay.

I'm glad they've used Springer and Broadside as triple-change practice before hopefully tackling the real whole in most people's collections, Blitzwing.

Hopefully if they do get to Blitzwing, they'll keep him deluxe sized so he sits nicely with Astrotrain and Octane.

Although surely Sandstorm deserves some love to complete the Autobot trio, yeah? I mean, that scout Hasbro just revealed won't do at all...

Sandstorm is also a Wrecker so I wouldn't be shocked.

I was bored and decided to color this guy up. I know it's inaccurate but I guess it would looks something like this. Not sure what they are going to do with those "J" shaped designs on the legs tho, looks kind of weird when colored.

Why are people throwing out numbers like $125-$150 for a leader figure?? This is FP we are talking about. If MMC can get out that beast of a bot that is a full out, old school sizing, leader class for under $150, why do people think FP won;t trample that price at the same size class?

Fansproject people, they had 3P pricing right from the get go.

Suppose those plates on the legs shoulf be grey, dark gray like runways ands the J shaped stripes be white for the runway guides. Other than that, awesome :)

some people are probably assuming that because he's an aircraft carrier, he will be larger and more expensive.
i assume he'll be the same size as springer, althuogh i got a feeling that steelcore was a bit larger. cant really tell.

I dunno, to me steelcoire looks shorter than Warbot Defender, and I believe this guy there will be a bit larger, but not much.

Different stroke for different folks. To me Steelecore looks like the largest bot produced by FP. It could be the PM or Heartcore thingy that makes him look big. But he looks much larger than Spring....Warbot.

My bet is on a Defender-sized Steelcore and on a Voyager-sized Assaulter :)

I was going to poiint that yes, maybe it was the tiny guy making steel look bigger, U mean, I can see him bigger looking at the art, but the toy doesn´t give me that impression. Again, different perspéctives as you said.

More or less how I see it, I just feel Steelcire a bit shorter bit more bulky than WD. But Assaulter as voyager is my guess.
