Good review, as usual. I got him today and like him, although not as much as fake-Breakdown. Something about the colour scheme on that one tickels my fancy. And I also got Sandstorm today who's currently sat next to Springer, so I am suffering from a bit of yellow overload.

One thing you didn't touch though is weapon storage in robot mode. For the other two figures you could clip the weapon on the back, but Down Force's weapons go in his legs, and you can't access them while it is in robot mode. I can't figure out anywhere else to put the gun, which is worrying as it's really, really tiny.

Ah, I generally put the weapons in their hands in bot mode so I didn't think to cover that. A good point though.

Great review. Seems like there would have been more clearance to flip out the feet if they would have allowed the torso to extend at the waist swivel like on car crash and t-bone. Hopefully, I'll get mine today. Really looking forward to it now that I have seen your video.

I've been storing the guns sticking out the back of the bots lower leg cavity when the thighs end up in alt mode. Works kinda like a very loose holster.

I prefer it that way to using back storage, which doesn't look nice to me due to the angle, distance from the bots back and the general disconnected impression I get with the guns almost looking like they are floating behind the bots.

Nice pointer on the windshield transformation. Everything's out of the way.

It fits quite nicely and almost totally hidden in his canopy in bot mode---just drop it down in from above, with the barrel tip pointing downwards. It can't fall out from the bottom or sides, and you have to turn him completely upside down to make it come out (nod his head forward to get it out intentionally, it should come out easily then).

Still no really good solution for arm mode, other than partially rotating a fist out just enough to expose the hole, and keeping the gun held in that way flush along the underside of the nose. Still hoping for a dedicated (or at least usable) spot on M3 in combined mode, or possibly a combining-guns gimmick. (though it'd look odd, with all the other guns being black/grey)
