Argh....I didn't get this set because Blockade/Chop-Shop is the only one I really wanted. Too bad this set probably will never get parted out. Chop-Shop was the only insecticon I had as a kid and I LOVED it! Shame 'cuz he looks pretty damn good for a 3P Chop-Shop!

 

Yea man. I was a lot more impressed with them in-hand.

Some people in the video responses have been saying they wish there was a split as well. Hopefully that does come for you guys, but I wouldn't miss out.

 

Extra set of guns for the first set... neat.

Truth be told... I wouldn't mind an extra set of the guns *and* the antannae used on these three. Even better if they came chromed. (Kept finding scratched up or yellowed G1 bits on eBay... which honestly wouldn't be as neat.)

And ditto on the War Bugs...

 

The problem is that I don't really like robot bugs. I think they're pretty stupid as shit, so I don't buy 'em. I bought the Causality ones 'cuz they're ninjas. But this set is a tougher sell because I never had the other two as a kid, so they don't hold any nostalgia for me. If anyone is willing to work out a buying scheme, where I'd take Blockade and the other guy gets the other two, I'd definitely put some money down on the set.

 

That's not a problem at all, man. Everyone has their preferences for sure.

I'll put a BOLO out there that you're looking to split the set 1/3 with someone.

Thanks for the review! The bonus weapons is a nice touch, just wished that they included the remolded insect parts for the original insecticons.

 

I think in the video you mix up the molds that were not-Bombshell & not-Shrapnel - Blockade uses the not-Shrapnel mold, Teardown is the not-Bombshell one.

Good review though.

THAT would've been cool. The puncher on teardown is thrown in as an extra, but it doesn't even fit on the other version

tfsource were very understanding   only going to get the one set instead of two now but they still have 200 odd left so hopefully in jan they will have some left and can grab another set to keep misb ( fingers crossed )
