    Stormbomb - YouTube

2nd of the NOT-Insecticons line is Stormbomb (A.k.A. NOT-Bombshell). This is yet another great figure in the Causality line.

I have also included pictures of the instructions.

Good review, but man would it be cool if the bug ninjas have guns. Just saying.

That's my issue with these as well. Not a deal breaker by any means, but at least one gun each would've been a nice addition, ah well.

You know maybe if we had some extra guns that we don't use maybe give them to the bug ninjas...yeah that could work.

Thanks for the nice review. It's a cool figure but the ball joints made me cringe.

Not sure since when I go to edit the title it says CA-04. Would any mods please be kind enough to make that correction.

Sweet, I was anxious for that first video review. Good work.

I too look forward to having all three set up in my Classics display.

Nice review, Spada! Nice to see you talking TFs since the days of TF Wire :)

Are you gonna get reprolabel con stickers? Feel like they need deception signs and maybe a few more g1 details. These are very tempting. Will try and get one. Or 3.

Do you think that when the big movie money stops rolling in and the mold space that has been occupied by bayverse stuff is freed up Hasbro will finally put the screws to all these 3rd party vendors who are illegally making their products? Is it fair and compariable to say that buying a 3rd party transformer is no different legally then buying marijuiana?

Nice, definite buy for me (in fact, he's sitting in my PoL XD). A shame about the limited articulation of the front legs in bug mode, but it's not a deal breaker. I hope his parts tab in a bit better in robot mode though; Stormbomb looks to be a bit more fiddly than Thundershred (who's a fairly sturdy bot though the insect leg kibble and shoulder tabs can be fiddly as well).

Can't wait for Backfiery to drop into my PoL so I can finally ship the last two of this set! It's a nice touch that they included extra weapon parts for Thundershred too (even if they look to be a slightly different color than his stock weapons, according to Peaugh). Oh, and Peaugh has a video review up of this guy too.

The legality questions are for hasbro and third party companies alone. If hasbro cared about defending their IP, they would have taken steps to stop these companies and/or reached out to the fan community and asked us not to buy such things. Though hasbro has claimed in the past that they must defend their IP, they have not.

This leads me to believe that 3rd party toys like this do not hurt hasbro in any way, of anything they help them by keeping fans excited about buying transformers.

I think hasbro will go after straight knockoffs, or companies that blatantly or stupidly use Hasbro character names or faction symbols.

All due respect, but your illegal drug comparison is non-analogous and meaningless.

How is it meaningless? Both are illegal. They are very compariable.

Hasbro has recently hinted at putting a stop to this stuff. I think they might make a move when their attention is deferred from the DOTM toyline. If anyone remembers the 90's you could not find any KO stuff here.

Look, it's fine if you're against this sort of thing. I understand that many people are Hasbro/Takara loyalists and prefer official releases, or are constantly questioning why they haven't dropped the hammer on these products. But please don't derail this feedback thread. Take your beef to PM or Toy Discussion. There are people that are coming here to learn about the figure in question, not to engage in a tired argument.

Make no mistake, I really do not care if KO co's make Transformers or not. I buy them myself. As a matter of fact I am saving money now to make a large order from KOtoys.com

I am just posing the question as an interesting debate topic. It is others who are turning it into a witchhunt and essay. Just things to think about, not necessarily to debate on here.
