Looking good. The paint work looks like it was factory. There's only one thing missing... pics with FP Bruticus! Do it! Don't fuck around! :lol

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the compliments, and Senor, thank you man, because I definitely went for a more "clean" look to it.

And here you go sir, lol:

bc it's a gestalt, and anything I put on the sides of his legs will also show on Barricade's/Onslaught's legs in the front as seperated mode.

That is Bad Ass. He fits in with the others but is also distinct enough to be the centerpiece of all of them. So much Bruticus goodness. High Fives all around.

It almost looks like you dyed the combiner parts black.

I don't know if that's a good or bad thing, but you do understand that if I died it black, then the windows and face would be died black as well, and there wouldn't be the uniform different shades of black, correct?

Not really.I've dyed Gijoes and transformers. Not all plastic takes to the dye the same way. Some of the camo patterns on joes does weird stuff in black dye.It goes from black to grey. Then you got some plastic that will not take dye at all.

TJ: I'm being serious. And my post was intended as a compliment, not as a joke or veiled insult. The added black looks so natural on the plastic that it appears factory. You can achieve similar effects with dying, which is why I said that it almost looks like you dyed the parts black. I really should've just worded my original post better because I had a feeling that's how you were going to reply.

I really enjoy your work (Battle Gaia especially), but you really need to stop being so defensive and flippant with people that comment on your work. I've seen your replies in the Shockwave thread, and I'm kind of seeing them here as well. Perhaps this is not your intent, but it certainly appears that way.

Either way, the apps on this look natural and clean. Congrats on a job well done.

No need for the lecture: I simply said, "I don't know if that's a good or bad thing", because I simply didn't and it was YOU who replied with a defensive paragraph. There was nothing "defensive or flippant" about my reply, and in fact, I was very respectful of you and your inquiry, which isn't what I just got in your reply.

Thank you for the compliment/critique for sure, but all of the personal nonsense, please keep that to PM from here on out, which is the same respect I would give you if I had any off-topic things to get into in one of your threads. If you can't do that, then please respect me as a poster by leaving me alone in general.

    Thank you.

Ha! Shows what I know. But, honestly, plastic dying just doesn't seem like it's worth getting into... It feels like whenever I see someone doing that, there are inconsistencies in it, and it's probably a lot to do with the things that you just posted there.

Don't let it scare you,it could be worth a shot.I'm not a very good painter,so dying cuts out rub issues, manly in the joints.I just dyed some parts for my swindle last night and red is a hard plastic to dye.Like said dude,it just depends on the plastic type.

I've thought about Clear coating,i just don't want it to rub more.A layer of primer and main color are playing hell on some parts as is.I'm not sure on gloss plastic,i would think it would lose the gloss look.Something like that you would just have to experiment with.

Yea, definitely. It's worth a shot sometime as I get more comfortable with this. Thanks man! It's always nice to have some other options, bc ur right, the rubbing is ridiculous.
