I wonder where superion's hands are stored when not in combined mode?

 

Yeah, you can pretty much tell where everything goes in the non-combined modes, except for the hands. They figured out where to put everything else quite well, so hopefully they did something just as clever with those.

In my case ROTF Superion will stay in his original package..sans arms/feet.
Besides I just can't go $80 right now..so..he remains as is

Gonna do some serious saving for this, now bring on Bruticus appendages.

 

Price aside, this add-on set looks freakin' amazing... Makes you wonder if the Takara/Hasbro had plans for something like this in the first place.

If I get it or not, that'll depend on my ability to save money... But I want so badly.

 

A lot of people keep saying the price is high for a thirty dollar set, but it sounds alright to me considering I spent $40+ on the set when it came out ($7 bucks for each basic and $10 for the deluxe).

 

I don't like the way it downgrades the arm bots from actual arms to mere shoulders.

 

Wow, this makes Superion so much better...

 

I like the set. Superion doesn't look like an amputee with prosthetic hands and feet anymore.

Alas, this is beyond my budget.

 

People are not complaining about the price of superion, but the price of the hands/feet upgrade which is $50. So with the $30 on top for superion that makes the whole hong $80.

I know some I you think you can't afford his but really what else is there to buy? ROTF hardly. I can easily skip a majority of ROTF crap. Like leader megs and a lot of the voyagers. There done saved myself money to buy this and the DIA commander set.

 

IS that the final paint job? Pretty plain.... if you ask me...

 

I really want both the set and the superion!

Ive got the japanese superion and I might swap parts from that with the "movie" version if it will make it look more G1 and then with the extra parts...boom baby!

I then can sell the japanese superion and the classics japanese silverbolt as their services to my collection will no longer be needed! arf arf!

 

Just save your money if there isn't anything else to buy lol. I agree that ROTF toys are not all that great and I too will pass on most. But even with this add on set, sure it looks nice but no way is it worth 50$ for hands and feet. So ill save myself 50$ there as well along with saving money on movie figures, to pic up something more worth the money. . I will never buy anything from these guys. Everything they make is over priced. They will tell you something is limited and then release 3 more times in different colors with a higher price tag.

 

High priced yes. Over priced no. Totally worth $50 to me. I almost bought 4 before it was confirmed they only connect with Superion. Devs, Bruticus and Nexus needs hands and feet too!

I've been nothing but thrilled with all the pieces I've bought from FP.

And how exactly does reusing the mold for a whole new character/figure make the prior releases less limited?
