It'll be certainly exciting to see, considering clouder's decepticon Powermaster had wings in the cartoon as a humanoid, but the toy was just a bat, not a humanoid

 

Which is exactly why I like the company. Robot to alt mode and back, that's all the gimmick any of it needs.

Plus they were bold enough to produce the monster bots in MP format back when other companies were giving us yet another of [that] character.

 

How tall was Clouder in the MF anime? I imagine that's the scale they'll prioritize over whatever media Dealer showed up in

 

Same height as Ginrai's core bot.

 

As nova maximus said, hes probably ginrai sized. Hard to find any comparison images tho. Closest I got was him massaging minerva

Honestly it is probably all of the above with mass shifting, but that doesn't really work. The simplest thing would be to add a slider to extend the body for bird mode to make it larger, then collapses for the torso dimensions in bot mode. Because of the mixed opinions I looked up some more images.

I like that, even now, we still try to utilize screen grabs from inconsistent animation to reference height. A head taller than MP10, that's good enough for me. Heck, I have the Siege one as a "good enough" stand in already.

 

Cool, I hope Fans Hobby keeps doing the Masterforce cast. I would have skipped on Masterforce all together if MakeToys and FansHobby didn't do such an incredible job with their figures. I use POTP, WFC, and TR for fill in's with these MakeToys and FansHobby figures, so I am stoked for all the Headmaster Jr characters that are being made. I didn't even have fill-in's for them.

 

I’m following with interest. This guy and Pounce/Wingspan are two I’ve pined for MP versions of since MP was a thing but doubted either would ever happen.

 

I guess if they're at a loss for scale, you could always go for vehicle mode. A missile truck like that would be bigger than a semi cab, but not as big as the semi truck and it's trailer. I think that sort of a size range where he's notably bigger than the Jrs but not Super Ginrai sized in robot mode would be pretty ideal.

The real thing I'm excited for is to see how well they can do the bird mode. I know he's basically always been an upside-down truck with wings, but if they're able to streamline it at all (or just make larger wings/legs), it could look really great.

Will they give us a bat for Skar?


Or will they give us a man in a bat-themed armor for Clouder?

 

The original toy came with a robot bat. So, I suppose that's what this will come with.

 

God, the Japanese animation was such bullshit... I mean, all the animation was bullshit really, but the Japanese stuff had cherries on top.

Not a fan anymore. My 1st run pmop has turned into a floppy mess, 2/3 of the monster bots are the same.

Doubledealer I think was the 2nd to last toy I owned, so its of less interest to me anyway, hope they do a decent job tho.
