Just ordered mine on TCP and it’s arriving Thursday!

I had thought about skipping this so I can get more of their Armada stuff but this set just looks way too fun to pass up!

He arrived today!
So far it’s usual FH (which is a wonderful thing) and I was still shocked at the size of that trailer! Vehicle mode is stumpy and adorable and I love it. Conversion was super quick and easy and the drones feel great. I’ll try combined mode tomorrow but so far I’m loving it!

 

Ordered one of these guys yesterday. I'd been putting it off for a while, so glad to finally have it put through. I've no connection to this version of the character, but the design and toy look really fun, and the vehicle limbs give me real Thunderbirds vibes which I appreciate!

 

BBTS just sent me the "arriving soon" email and i'm so excited

Also, on the topic of them making separate drones, trailer. I'd love for them to do their own drone designs (like a car, plane, etc.) to go with this and really make people want another trailer.

Same here, both for the new drones and the bbts email. Finally, the wait is almost over

 

rewatching Energon again and I noticed Optimus uses a space revolver as his weapon. I kind of like that more than the blaster they gave him.

 

I finally had some time to mess with combined mode! I recently left my horrible and corrupt job to go back to school and it’s keeping me busy!

I absolutely love how solid these combiner joint connections are. The stability is really good. And the poseability is pretty good. I wish the shoulder joints went higher but it’s not terrible. Overall this is another HIT from FH in the Unicron Trilogy!

 

This figure truly is a work of art. I can't put him down.

Ok, I’m sure someone has already asked, but where do all the stickers go? No instructions indicating where they should be placed.

I'm pretty sure the back page or two of the instruction book has the layout for the stickers.

Extra trailer + drones, it's how the submarine claw hand is seeing the light of day iirc. And yes he has stickers, most obvious one to me is the yellow in the supermode torso but it also has some thigh details, side windows in truck mode, lisence plate and lights on the bumper, few other odds and ends

Pulled out on their Double Dealer to dive back into this guy (always excited me more) and locked in the add ons.

I'm delighted they are doing more. I was uneasy they were going all out to give this gimmick it's due and not touching the potential of alternate units (yeah Wing Saber is happening, but that's its own thing).

While I fully admit he looks slick with pairs and full squads (my heart goes out to the wallets of the mad lads that buy 3 of these), I'm disappointed that only the sub got new tooling and the whole team are the same colors. I know; saving colorway options for full alternate releases, but it would've made only the sub being new sting less.

Also the extra trailer is paying off all the work to make it modular, but BBTS (and pics) show no gun to go with it. That's a pity since it has the mounting for it.

 

I dont think I got the sticker sheet. where in the box was it?
