So they released seven unique molds plus a handful of dinobot variants in 2016. That bolds well for upcoming figures. There are eleven figures on their future docket listed on the first page. So it's fairly reasonable to expect seven or eight to come out in the coming year.

 

Spotter is fantastic! Best Reflector IMO from all the 3rd parties. Solid and full of character.

 

I'm torn with this everytime I see my pre-order list. Do I cancel my 3P Trailbreaker and Sunstreaker and hope Takara makes them? Honestly, if TT said they will make them but it'll take 3 years, I wouldn't care to have the 3P's of them. I can wait.

 

You should add FT-23 Mindwipe.

Even their version of Cyclonus, Scourge and Constructicons should be part of release schedule, because they are on the way.

 

Who do you think gives the retailers a time frame? Why do you think most retailers release date for a particular character are roughly the same?

I guess it depends on your priorities. I'm to the point I want my collection to be done and move on (I'm not getting any younger). I want the best representation that is available now or coming soon. I just don't have faith that TT will make every character when they don't even have an official announcement for it, nor do I know I'll even like it. The fact they're shifting into Beast Wars makes me question that even more for the MP stuff. YMMV but that's how I feel about it and make my choices.

 

I don't know about the rest of you. but I'm ready for some news from FT. @dalianjj has been quiet lately. I bet he's getting something great ready to announce soon. I can't wait!

 

I wouldn't get your hopes up man. I don't think they'll have new reveals anytime soon, maybe tfcon? They're biggest focus is getting the announced products out this year

 

I would be totally happy to see some colored figures or some "tweaked" current molds. A few of their 2017 releases need a bit more work (springer, blitzwing, seaspray) while everything else looks ready to be painted and shipped. Sixshot and kup come to mind

 

Very true my friend, I'm ready to obtain kup and Sixshot. I feel like kup for some reason may be one of their better figures of 2017, and yet that's hard to say because nearly everything looks sooooo good. I agree though Springer and blitzwing need the most work.

And they need to hurry up and show prototypes of Cyclonus and scourge......Galvatron is lonely

 

Skyfire coming out April would be awesome  , but that can't happen, can it?

 

They don't need more announcements, they already have like a dozen figures announced that haven't even gotten to production yet. Let's see some actual release dates and final testshots.

 

It seems like they could move some if those releases around. Hit kup, skyfire, trailbreaker, slag and sixshot around April, do omega next, save the rest for the end if the year. There's a bunch of figures that are totally ready to go, as soon as they can schedule factory time.

 

Add hydra to the list to get additional work and refinement. Not buying that wolf mode and those two big blocks hanging off the lateral parts of the knees of robot mode are fine for G1 accurateness but need to be trimmed down some. Way too big at this point.

 

Unless I wait for fans toys to do all the characters. I feel like I'm coming to an end of my collection.

Maybe I'm feeling that way because I'm running out room and there isn't anything right now I'm looking for. I mean I have a few preorders but if I had 1000$ to spend today, I wouldn't buy anything.

Maybe I would get beast wars Optimus primal, but that is a stretch because I have no attachment to it.
