Seems like all will have limited release as discussed previously, due to FT lowering production numbers.

It feels like an endless cycle of price adjustments and production number adjustments. I get that theyre a business in an uncertain luxury market but jeeeeeze...

They are literally building up the suspense. Some minibots, a couple of carbots, a few Seekers, then BAM! FT unveils their Devastator.

The rush isn't as much, but some retailers do still sell out quickly. With the last set of preorders I know TCP sold out of Blaster, Cassettes, and Powerglide very quickly. Interestingly the most popular of the group Cliffjumper was available longer. Likely a production number thing that allowed that.

Assuming FT can actually hit that (never know with real world issues) that is near the best case scenario. That would mean they only have 7 announced figures (Blitzwing, Slingshot, Fireflight, Dead End, Fort Max, Chromedome, Ultra Magnus) not up for preorder for this year, which would be less than a full years worth of releases if they all came out next year by some miracle.

It depends on if it FT's choice, or if it is based on the production window the factory was willing to give them. FT has made it obvious they are going to keep releasing regularly in a way almost no other company does. With that ongoing release schedule it makes sense for actual factory availability to vary over time which FT seems to ignore.

Sigh.... more announced and quickly released figures while we're still waiting for the previously announced figures like Berserk, Bandit, Lupus reissue. Assuming Recorder and Lupus reissue happen before July, that still leaves Bandit and Berserk MIA.

I always found that thinking interesting because at the time I wasn't inclined to believe it was Takara just because of how odd the whole scenario seemed to me. I come around on that simply because a KO company designing it based on the 45 framework would have released it long ago.

Well FT is almost out of announced figures to put out before them.

I don't think they had a choice. They had to increase the production during Covid due to increase in interest. They knew part of this would be off in some time, but a negative number like this is difficult to predict (how much people would be off). So the best way to gather this is check sales. After the products begun shelf warming, they needed to make a decision of keeping the production or lower it. As in the FT business model they seem to sell everything they produce, the shelf warming was more a problem of the retailers, but obviously the retailers won't be happy with more products shelf warming and FT kew this. So to lower the production seems to be the obvious only choice at the moment.

That would depend on how much the production numbers are actually reduced. If they are really going by quick sales the number of figures ShowZ or BBB are allocated may be around the currently sold preorders which would cause them to sell out quicker.

But FT hasn't announced Trypticon yet, I don't think anyone else who is huge ran on Swerve.
