Was wondering which one to get as I've saved up enough money to either get/pre-order all of Warbotron or pre-order Fans Toys Soar and Sever and get their Sludge when he comes out. I'm really trying to divorce myself from my love for the Combaticons in this decision and just look at the pros and cons. I know Fans Toys has done a great job with Scoria and I'm honestly excited for Soar and wanna complete the Dinobots; but the more I see pics of Heavy Noisy and Air Burst, the more tempted I am to buy those guys and pre-order the other three.
Fanstoys because by the time they are complete, there will probably be another Bruticus that is even more MP-centric
I'd have to agree with this. FansToys not-Dinobots are almost as MP as its gonna get unless Takara and Hasbro announce something. They may announce a combiner this year for the masterpiece line, never know.
But this hobby is not objective anyways. If you already "love" the combaticons, how does it matter if some other figures are superior? Remember, your imagination makes up at least 60% of any figure.
...I misread the poll and voted wrong =_=;; For me, I'm getting the Fanstoys Dinobots AND the Warbotron Cambaticons... but I'm doing it by saving up money I get from my side job (edittting) and preordering them one at a time. As I ordered through Captured Prey, I've got them paid off and I don't have to worry about a sudden chunk of money coming out of my account. ... If I was forced to choose between the two subgroups... Dinobots, becuase I LOVE the Dinos in the Marvel comics and thus they win^^
If you have the money to preorder the FT Dino's, you should get them while they are the cheapest they will ever be. I would imagine that at some point a year from now you could get Warbotron for less than now. I doubt FT Dino's will go down in price, and they will probably increase. So I say FT now and start slowly saving for next year when someone like BBTS does a Botcon 2015 Sale, Spring Sale, etc... with Warbotron on a nice discount.
You literally have AirBurst as your icon. But seriously Warbo Brut has way more going on than the dinobots. Simply more value and playablity and features. Also cheaper.
IDK. I have Scoria but I don't think I'd want to give up Air Burst and Heavy Noisy for him. The MP Decepticons are outnumbered as is. But the FT Dinos really are Masterpiece figures in terms of aesthetics and design
