Well, we've already seen that.

A big part of why stock is sitting is because prices are higher from the get go. A $300 Phoenix sitting on shelves is not the same as a $150 Phoenix sitting on shelves. The latter wouldn't be happening.

 

It will still come as a surprise.

Yeah, Jazz pre-orders will come and go quickly, most pre-orders that go up will disappear the day they go up maybe in a few hours. If there’s $30 deposits it might slow it down a bit. But then there will be other retailers that will announce soon after that they will be listing Jazz at a specific time and day to give other people a chance to get it. Bombusbee will probably be adding tons of preorders in batches.

Then at release there’s always a bunch of people giving up pre-orders they were sitting on and he’ll probably be widely available. There’s a lot of hype around the pre-orders but it’s generally not been hard to track things down at release. (Other than Astrotrain’s price jacking)

 

For most of this year, there hasn't been an issue securing a preorder for a fanstoys product. They are even staying in stock at numerous retailers.

You just have to be diligent about watching the forums, or social media. Set it so you get an email when there is a new reply here, and check on it.

 

Well… yeah, we don’t know when they’ll decide to reveal it, so someone’s bound to miss it. But I think even if you miss the first FIRST day, there’s plenty of places (toydojo, a3u) that will release them a few days later and give a heads up. But you know how fanstoys do, they’ll be popular and hard to get

 

Right. That's what I was saying... There are increased prices and stores request NRDs now.

Why else would literally every 2021 FT product be available at retail? That certainly isn't how things were in 2020.

 

You might at first with some retailers but there have been a steady stream of available POs with overseas vendors. Also, people constantly drop their slots over time.

Just be patient, guys on here are pretty helpful about posting what’s out there, except for @Dpuff. He will only share if his news credit demands are met.

 

Is the only NRD for Cerebros/Hannibal? Or have more come through?

I am hopeful that with this cliffjumper leak we might actually see a Takara jazz. I mean if you can't get fanstoys.

 

I think DS is probably going to come in and take some sells from this.

 

I'd fully buy a TE/DS (what are they anymore?) jazz. They nail the same aesthetic that Takara has, mirage and prime are just perfect next to the Datsuns etc
