I'm glad FT listened to the fans on this, though. That gold chest sucked.

 

Drab can mean boring - and in this context it fits perfectly. Calling that kiddy tonka yellow anything besides boring/drab when compared to a rich gold seems like a huge stretch to me... but you're welcome to your opinion ofc.

I would also like the hinge in the forehead to disappear and for the tiny slots below the speakers to be on both legs, but at least I don't have to cancel my pre-order now, haha.

Maybe we'll get a seperate two-piece cassettepack with Rewind and Buzzsaw? Although Rewind *was* announced as being part of the four-pack. I hope they'll honor that.

 

Don’t you just hate how some of these collectors try to change the narrative into making a certain company be something that they’ve never, ever been (ie FansToys making full toon style figures).

And I said from day one that things can still change with FT, so not surprised by this change in door colour. I was indifferent either way and already locked my preorder on day one. Now release this thing already.

 

Very glad to see that gaudy chrome chest is gone. It was accurate to nothing, and nowhere near as tasteful as the chrome applications on Acoustic Wave.

This is officially back on my “need” list; can’t wait to have this as the definitive Blaster in my collection!

I dig the gold honestly, but I'm glad they're including the yellow as an option for those who don't. I'll take my Blaster bling blinging while he sing singing.

 

I do not think yellow is included as an option based on what we are seeing. It seems to be what we are getting period. As in, no gold.

 

I made my choice. Im not upset in the least either. Im very happy with what I got so I wont be swapping it out for this.

I think the only way for FansToys to appease both sides of #chromegate is for them to include an unpainted chest and two cans of yellow and gold spray paint. Boom, everyone’s happy!

Wellllll.... damn. Oh well, I honestly didn't care either way. I just want a good looking Blaster instead of the old KFC figure.... now.... if we can get a Twincast repaint.  

 

I'd say Spindrift 2.0 is "full toon" and Jive is pretty close. Parkour is looking like it to me also.

 

Yellow is my favourite, but I that gold looked interesting too imho! It makes the figure feel a little bit more Real world.

That said, maybe we will receive that gold chest as an accessory? That would be really cool!
