Just got my in stock notification from Tfsource. The way fanstoys have been getting these releases out so frequently I'm really hoping FT-48 jive video is on the way. I'm predicting within 3 to 4 weeks

It's a slightly darker white so it doesn't get lost on the light blue.

 

Thanks for the photos. Debating cancelling my pre-order. No interest in what looks like a sad-faced figure with some questionable coloration & articulation.

 

It doesn’t sound like there’s much of a debate if you have no interest in it. Cancel it and let someone else buy it.

 

Yeah. Sorry to sound so negative. Maybe some latent regret over selling the last of my Sphinxes a year or two ago and seeing this isn't quite as impressive as I'd hoped.

 

Articulation and fanstoys are not two words that belong together sadly.

Although I had to the pay the $13 sales tax TFSource is shipping my copy. I thought I would have to wait much longer. Hopefully, Jive follows quickly before the end of the year.

Rig, Aussie, Outrider, Hitch, Jive, Phantasm, Chomp, Hannibal that is a hell of a year and met every deadline. 2023 so far is Recorder, Tapes, Tube, Warthog, and Parkour. I think it bodes well that Viper, Jester, and Bandit get added to that list. Still think we see more updates/reveals before the end of the year/pre CNY.

 

Even then you still have no butterflies in the shoulders and when you do get that (Roadking) you have very minimal ball jointed neck movement. Every other company is surpassing them on articulation and have been for a long time now. If articulation in your figure is important. Fanstoys is not the one to go for.

 

Hopefully still Q1 for Lupus reissue as well, not delayed for other more recently announced reissues.

 

I know its a long shot but since we just got phantasm and dracula itd be cool to see them do jive and lupus next followed by the thomas repaints in dec/jan. Then acoustic wave before cny

 

Don't forget Tesla 2.0. FTs has been very active this year. 8 new character models (with Jive will be 9). I wish they could continue with the same dedication next year.

I think we will also see Variator and Diverge in 2023. Maybe Chromedome and Scourge.

Articulation - It's not that important for me. I rather like the look of the figure. In Paik4Life review I saw articulation that is enough for me and I'm satisfied. It has everything that I need. It even has knee swivel. Well I'm not going to do yoga poses for my figures. And so even if articulation is low point for FT I don't care.

As for color I need to see it for myself but I think that I will like it.

 

And Berserk is a lost hope.
