This one looks pretty close to straight on from the side to me.

 

Doesn't look that bad there but if you can still spread out his wings like the render showed that back will become fairly hollow. Probably won't be any worse than other carbots, though.

 

And they put his left elbow to help hide the gaps.

This one is angled some instead of straight on, but the arm is covering what we can see on the kneeling one so we can see a little of what is covered in the kneeling pic.

Dude I hate accessories. FT has kept it tame, but Hasbro gives you so much shit with their bot to justify their outrageous prices. Damn if I have so much crap. Hate it.

I just want his grapple hook and hip speakers. Shame they couldn't fit them in the actual hip flaps so they weren't an accessory. It's definitely a silly- easy thing to do, too. Hell, I did it on the old universe toy.

 

The lack of a grappling hook definitely hurts. I loved messing with the one on Downbeat.

 

Is that the Maketoys' version? I really don't see why anyone who has it would "upgrade" to FT's Jive.

Because Downbeat doesn't have the heft that Jive and all FT figures have. It's an absolute heftlet. Sure Jive probably doesn't have the grappling hook but the heft is all that matters and it's the universal symbol of quality that only FansToys possesses!
