Finally transformed it for the first time and back since @songrobin glued the chest pins back in, shaved the knees and chipped the shoulder screws a bit and still… OOOOF this is a harrowing figure. Definitely the most nerve-wracking of any FT I’ve attempted.

This is as tight as I could get it as a Porsche. The panels hold together for a few seconds before this part or that loosens apart a bit. I was careful to follow the Golden Shen video and to get in and use my fingers (twss) to separate the metal chest rods apart where the pins are instead of just pulling the hood pieces. Also, I don’t know how you get the knees to fold properly without using force and freaking the fuck out. You just hope and pray they won’t snap on you.

The transformation to the way back is intuitive for the first 2/3, but I needed to look at video again for the legs and then again it’s mostly just hope and pray. I’m not sure how everything fits back in the leg panels and I’m worried I’m going to snap off the rear fenders/heels and the knees are TERRIFYING. I’m not sure they’ll survive one more transformation let alone 20. I don’t even know if it’ll be worth buying Toyhax stickers for him because that would involve transforming again and that’s a ton of risk.

I love how he looks in both modes but it’s a damn shame that for my favorite character FT basically made an XTB product.

Has anyone had any communication from BBTS as to when they’re supposed to be getting Jazz? I’ve had him on PO since late last year.

This figure is great IMO. The hardware used, on the other hand, is not ideal.

For most FT fans, this is not an issue since they don't transform their toys ever. But for those of us that do, it's simply sucks because it will eventually break one day.

Toyhax labels for Jive are up. 16 dollars after 20% discount. Y543FAYG for another 16% off.

The only part I really didn't like was the lack of clearance when moving the fender around after the flip. I did forget about flipping the panel up in the legs when going back to robot mode so the chipping is my fault but I'm okay with it. Other than that I can nitpick about the forearms tabbing in when in alt mode.

    It's really a solid figure.

This looks like a nice option for those who'd like more real world or G1 toy detailing on their Jive. I've never bought from toyhax before, but I think I'd probably have to buy multiple sets to counter my OCD in the event something gets placed crookedly.

Soooo.... what's the paint chipping like on this guy? I've caved in and ordered him, but having watched that BSF review, I'm not sure I want to risk transforming him now.

You should clean \ vacuum \ hoover your floor. Yeesh. Plus the random plastic bag\sheet mixed in with the dirt and cables.

Welp, FML. Anyone know of a good paint match for the blue on Jive? I have a nice scratch on the entire length of the roof that needs to be repainted. I'm fucking red hot right now....

Are you 100% sure the scratch is down to the plastic/metal underneath? If not, automotive scratch remover can work wonders (just don't apply too much, apply very light pressure and slowly work the scratch out as opposed to trying to remove in one step)

Link(not sure why it's showing a strange title, but this is for the stuff I use): General PDP Template

Yeah i'm sure, white is showing under the blue. I'd have to lightly sand it down and repaint it if I can even find a paint that's close. I'm so pissed.
