I've been kind of busy, but I've finally got some time to mess a little bit more with my Jive and I've noticed that his front hip skirt (right side), is not working like it should. I can lift it up, but not all the way like it was supposed to. Tried to force it a bit, but it doesn't go more than this.

Anyone else with the same issue?
I remember seeing a photo of someone with a broken one, but I think it was on a Facebook group.

Finally got an email from bbts that my preorder for Jazz should be in soon. Seems like they've taken longer than anybody else to get theirs in.

Pretty disappointed with this guy. His right side (from his perspective) chest screw/pin broke on me.

It’s so needless and unnecessary. It’s not a question of poor engineering or bad design. FT simply cheaped out on the screws. They need to make them longer and stronger. They are simply being asked to do too much, supporting the weight of the entire chest and arms on two tiny-ass screws all while traveling on a slider that goes up and over. I can’t fathom how that they thought it would work more than a couple times max before wearing out.

I was worried about the legs, I thought I was going to break them folding the thighs into car mode, but I managed that without much incident. I doubt they’d survive 25+ such transformations but maybe okay for a handful. Tbh, I haven’t tried changing him back into a bot yet so I haven’t seen if the legs will even survive one complete transformation back and forth and haven’t checked for cracks.

Sending him to Pastor Robin now to fix the chest.

It just sucks, Jazz is my favorite character and I imagine for many of you as well. I had hoped FT would’ve taken more care into making sure he’s perfect in QC than treating him like he’s goddamn Outback or some other random.

I'm late checking out this figure, but pretty impressed. Transformation looks too complicated for my taste, but he looks good, and what a nice bunch of accessories! I will hold out for the official Takara, (I usually avoid third party - Gigapower's gigasaurs being a massive exception). I really hope it will come now that Porche have allowed a licence for a movie character* but find this rather appealing,

*Albeit a completely different character whose G1 turns into a completely different vehicle, but... gnnn. I won't get started....

I had this issue, tried to force it and broke the little nub that held it in place and scratched/dinged up the plastic around it.

Got a replacement skirt via ShowZ and installed the new one with some keyboard keycap lube to help it in and was super careful. Chipped a tiny bit of paint either side of the connection but now the skirt works as it should

Anyone know how to get this out?

finally got replacements for the two pins coming out (the common issue). Fixed the main part but now have to reattach the doors and wheels. Doors are just a pin but the wheels are held by this peg. Anyone have a trick to get it out?

Finally received mine from BBTS. Apparently they were short shipped on batch one. Super disappointed with the QC of batch 2. I’m guessing the too short/bent door pins are a thing? I attached pics of each side. Anyone have loose pins all over? Both shoulders pins are wonky, and the hand pins are coming out. Is this normal?

I've had mine since Christmas time and still haven't transformed it, which is what really tests all the pins IMO.
But I can report that one of my doors is also wonky. It won't stay up at all.
Fortunately I prefer my Jazz with his doors folded down so I've kinda let it pass.

Mine just arrived today and he is amazing. I haven’t transformed him yet though. I’m actually too scared to after reading some of the comments on here. He is so pretty though, probably my favourite figure so far and i’m very glad i upgraded from Downbeat
