Looking at that flap and pin, I don't think it would require any special tools. I don't have any special tools so if I was to insert the pin I would just find a good solid surface to carefully push against to get the pin in. Perhaps tell TCP that you do not have any experience with this type of repair if they don't offer to exchange.

Not gunna look back.. just an FYI. You can also store the weapons under his feet in hover mode. Seems all the reviews has missed it. Here is the picture to show where they go.

Feet paint looks good initially, zero scuffs or chips.

He's one handsome looking, chunky, little fella!

Edit: QC31 for those that care about such things

I believe for full toon accuracy, you need to swap the heads.
    Round head with toon face.
    Square head with toy face.

    I think.

How do the faces swap? I was playing with it earlier and couldn't separate the helmet in two.

    Got my belly guy.
    He is super cartoon accurate.
That his hovermode is longer then it should be, i don't care.
    He is awesome!

Tysm. He looks even better now, wow. I know it's kinda a meme to love spindridt 2.0 but this figure is really awesome.

Idk if it's been pointed out yet, but this is the first FT minibot with ratcheted knees and hips. The hip construction is very ingenious, it features internal ratchets connected to metal spokes.

I noticed before that FT Sheridan has lining on his hips that would be indicative of outward ratchets, but the actual ratcheting tooth isn't present in the final build.

I think that these mini hip and mini knee ratchets represent a step forward in FT engineering that has been in the works for a while. In fact, has ANY company managed to put ratchets in a minibot before SD2.0? Or has FT pushed the industry a step further than before?

I'm curious what other people think.

Been a while since I owned them but I'm 99% sure Badcube Brawn and Outback have ratchets in the knees. Arms too iirc.

Ah, I was wondering if that was possible. I've been seeing everyone use the square head even though the early renders showed him with the toon-accurate round head, so I though maybe FT had just ditched the round head or something.

I wonder why they didn't make the round head the default.

I think it's just a misassembly. Even the pictures on the box have the "correct" configuration. It seems in assembly they just got put together the wrong way.

I think skully mentioned that the guns can be stored in his feet in robot mode... Is this true?

Nope, only in hovercraft mode. The spots they go are filled with parts of the pontoons (or whatever they're called) in robot mode.

Well, thanks. Your pic just made me buy him! I've kept telling myself for months now I was good with TW Wavebreak. But it really isn't a contest. This configuration is the icing on the cake. He looks absolutely stunning.
